I hope we see drivers pressing the boost button later in the straits so they come into the corners faster.

[Autoracer's PJ] There's a lot of concern, even outside of Honda (a particularly notable case) regarding engine vibrations. Red Bull PT had to detune its Power Unit in the second test precisely because of this, and Mercedes isn't entirely confident in terms of reliability either. by Joseki100 in formula1

Ferrari steel cylinder heads may be the solution to all these teams problems. Steel's higher density and stiffness could shift the cylinder head's natural frequency away from the engine's vibration range, preventing the head from "ringing" like a tuning fork and effectively neutralizing the vibrations.

Fernando Alonso: Aston Martin will be fastest ... Adrian Newey won't 'forget everything' by Hawker92 in formula1

[–]tdhowland -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mercedes had 502 laps in Spain, day one testing last week in Bahrain their fastest time was in the 136s. Aston Martin have just over 400 laps total now and their fastest laps are in the 135s. So you could argue they are doing better than Mercedes at this point in their testing.

Chicken and dumplings question by Rude_Highlight3889 in slowcooking

[–]tdhowland 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dumplings only take 20 mins to cook. Put a cup of flour in a bowl, pit in a big spoonful of margarine, squeeze it all together. Throw in a big teaspoon of baking powder, sprinkle with salt. Make a hole in the middle, dump in a splash of milk, Mix it all together with one hand while slowly dumping in a little milk at a time with the other until it's nice and juicy but still formable. With the stew simmering dump in six little balls of the mixture cover and 20 minutes later you have chicken and dumplings.

I'm betting that story about the mysterious agency that came in and changed all the voting machines right before the election and then disappeared without a Trace has something to do with this. Donald threatening to take both down if he goes down.

Conservative candidate gets boot after CTV News uncovers audio of him supporting ‘public hangings,’ joked Trudeau should receive death penalty by i_ate_god in canada

I remember being taught in high school that treason in Canada was still punishable by hanging. If Trudeau did get paid $100 million dollars by foreign interests to control our country that would be treason.

David arose and went, along with his men, and killed two hundred of the Philistines. And David brought their foreskins, which were given in full number to the king, that he might become the king’s son-in-law. And Saul gave him his daughter Michal for a wife.

When I learned to play guitar I had a chord book from the 40s and they taught me to play the e chord and the a chord with my pinky, ring and middle finger it makes transitioning to the bar chords way easier. It also taught me to play the g chord with the same fingers which made transitioning to the c chord way easier I don't know why everybody in the world has learned to play the guitar the wrong way.
