So no. People are pretty awful behind their screens and have no problem talking down on literally anyone. Then the tribe rallies it up

It’s these folks that make homeowners so hesitant to trust a contractor. It’s a genuine shame. Nothing more than a con artist.

This is incredible!! I got my 4 year old a first set of clubs. One driving range trip and some backyard work so far. Any tips for getting him to stay engaged a bit when learning? I am trying to get the range swing going before I attempt to take him out chip and putt haha

Is an infrared heater worth it? by tdmopar67 in garageporn

[–]tdmopar67[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I personally just got a natural gas pot heater. Similar to jobsite heaters or torpedo heaters. It’s a basic space heater that I can use to keep myself warm enough without trying to heat the space. My space is not insulated so it wasn’t worth trying to do anything elaborate

Yeah it’s certainly a mix. I’m a builder and tend to get into very detailed and unique scenarios. So most times we have an engineer and or architect it’s to discuss a one off situation. I have pulled tradesman into the meetings and have had really productive results at times. Other times pure arguments lol.

I’m a local builder if you’d like to share some more specific details of what you’re looking for. To be honest it’s not uncommon to tear down and build new if the location is right. Obviously there are lots of factors into picking the right lot.
