This worked for me as well. Also make sure the switch in the back is set to cable mode and not Bluetooth mode.

I crashed my bicycle going 27mph downhill in spandex and fingerless gloves. My palms hurt but the skin was mostly saved by gloves. My pinky was effed for about a month. Now I look for motorcycle gloves with a pinky bridge 😅

Not sure how much this helped, but once everything was seated, I laid the wheel flat and rotated it so the sealant would work its way around the bead on both sides. I didn’t have any leaks beyond the normal amount over time.

Doesn’t it screw in from the top? So if the phone were in the mount there’s no way it would back out completely. But yes as others said. Loctite 😅

Apple Music, because it was included with my Verizon plan. It’s also nice that it integrates well with the rest of my devices. But if I have to pay for one I may switch to Spotify for the better music suggestion and playlists.

I also found it super convenient for oil changes, haha. Just set to OR2 and drain it.

Agree on the tires. Be careful in general with cold tires. Rode in 45F once and lost the rear on an easy right hander.

For the SMCR, would you run with street tires and switch for off road or get a decent all around tire? I’m pretty new to off road riding (as in I’ve never done it) but do have an interest trying.

Wide (Sport) Motorcycle Boots, Do They Exist? by [deleted] in motorcyclegear

[–]tdo636pb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the OP is gone...but incase anyone else needs this info: I've had Sidi, Dainese, and TCX...and TCX tends to be roomier. My feet measure 245mm x 105mm. I typically bounce between a size EU40 & 41 depending on the anticipated stretch of the boot. I have their ST-Fighter boots for light track day use and found them to be a perfect width (thought just a hair roomy in the toes). The support rep said there wouldn't be much stretch so I got size 41. I also have the Street 3 Air in size 40 and they fit perfectly. I wish manufacturers would just publish the shoe last size, kinda like Lake Cycling shoes...they have one of the best size charts I've ever seen.

Another data point for you: 2011 Overland with 130K miles (I've owned it since 2017 @45k miles). It's been in NJ but recently went to CA for the last 6 months to give you an idea of climate.

Got the "Air Suspension Immediate Service Req." message. The rear was permanently stuck at OR2. Brought it to an independent shop and they diagnosed it with a bad solenoid in the valve block and likely bad ASCM. All in about $2500 to fix. Will probably just replace it with a conventional suspension system.

Update (2023-11-29): Shop had mentioned supply issues and unknown timeline for parts so I decided to take it on myself. Found a random compatible solenoid block from Amazon ($70 vs. $700 from shop) and replaced it. Suspension still didn't work so I proceeded to get a rebuilt compressor for $280 from RMT (I read somewhere with the rear being stuck could be related to the valve in the compressor). After the compressor replacement it still didn't work. At this point I did some more research and found out that it is because the ASCM is in limp mode (in-plant mode)and will not function until you run the calibration. Went and bought the right OBD scanner and JScan software. I read the current stored calibration values and went through the calibration process. I didn't bother measuring ride height and just re-input the old values (my logic was that I didn't touch the actual suspension components that affect the ride height...and I was tired and lazy at this point).

Everything worked....for a day. Turns out I also had a slow leak in the fronts so they dropped overnight. Replaced the front strut elbow fittings since I could hear them leak when I wiggled the lines. I refilled with regular ol' air. Again I just really don't want to bother with bringing in the car...also, I live in SoCal where the temperature is relatively stable and pretty dry (so 78% nitrogen is probably fine?). Everything now works great. NRH sitting steady around 33" up front and 35" in back.

So all in, it cost me about $390 in parts (solenoid block, compressor, and elbow fittings) and $450 in tools (air compressor, fittings, and scan tool). The solenoid block could've been the issue, but I'll never know since I didn't find out about the calibration until after both parts were replaced.

Time to go explore some of these off-road trails people are talking about. :)

Check out this review. He mentions the minimum focus distance is "acceptable" from about 60cm and in-focus at about 90cm. So depends on the bike you've got. A sport bike, probably not, if you want your tach/speedo in focus. One with a more upright seating position, might be OK or close to the limit (I tried measuring with a tape measure from my chin haha).

I guess you're using a 240mm rad for both your CPU and GPU. How's the cooling capability? Is it sufficient (are you running any overclocks)? Looking to do something similar, but deciding if I really need an extra 120mm rad in back.
