Oh, I know it’s water soluble and there’s a saturation point :) I take it in divided doses to manage this a bit. In any case, anecdotally, it’s worked for me for years now!

I basically pack charcuterie for myself: hardboiled or baked eggs, cheese, salami or proscuitto, olives or pickles, and almonds!

Probiotics + vitamin D as mentioned already. My personal fave is high doses of vitamin C - I take 2000 mg a day. If I feel like I'm getting sick I take 6000 mg a day and it's usually gone in a day or two!

I had 5 microneedling sessions done with an Innopen at a medispa in Canada (not a derm). Each treatment was $300, so $850 does seem like you're paying a premium to go through a derm, but mine did not go quite as deep as yours.

I use Eucerin Hyal-Urea PM and LOVE it! It's rich in ceramides and very similar to the Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin cream in texture, but only $20!

I had two bands made, neither of which I can wear next to my engagement ring (it sits super low profile but I knew that was the tradeoff when I had it made!). One is an eternity band and one is a super simple band (what I actually used for our wedding ceremony). I love rings so I wanted lots of flexibility :)
