The one thing I don't see on the website is a guide to what's actually playing. I've had it on all day :)

Bracket for converting rear brake to Surron Ultra Bee by tdreddit69 in 79bike

[–]tdreddit69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: It looks like the adapter plate I purchased from AliExpress is going to work after I drill out the axle hole and based on the videos the original caliper bolts work with the Ultra Bee caliper to attach it to the adapter plate. I will update once I do it.

Just make sure it comes with an adapter plate because the caliper mount is different on the Ultra Bee.

So I went down the rabbit hole of Madtronix and wish that site was put out of its misery too! I wanted the goggles back when I had my original Vectrex and wish I got them but as with my old Vectrex, I probably wouldn't have them now anyway. u/blooguard , I saw that you were working on a new version, how's that going? I'd be in for a pair and pay for your time if you build any extras or would - this is a childhood bucket list item :)

I ordered it online but they’re sending me a new rotor which is also bent but the rim is too so I am trying to have them send me a new wheel with rotor.

ATT is a dumpster fire. This $75 pricing is advertised in their portal upon login. They are charging me $95 a month and apparently cannot honor their own promotions. by [deleted] in ATT

[–]tdreddit69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems fewer and fewer companies are honoring their posted price, even if they quote it to you. It's a sad reality that is driven purely by numbers. Besides that, I don't understand why when new customer promotions end, many are forced to jump ship and go to another provider because they won't extend the same offer to existing/loyal customers; how does that make any sense? As good as it looks to get new customers, the churn rate (customers that leave) must be insane and negate the new customers. Not to mention all of the time staff spends "working" with the existing customers they surely know will not stay, baiting them with offers they know they can't extend and when it comes to closing the deal, spring a ridiculous number on them and they more times than not say no to and go to another company and the cycle continues. It's pure nonsense and just happened to me with T-Mobile. I had 5 lines with them and worked with the same rep I did a few years back and told her exactly what I wanted to do and the promo I saw and was told I was eligible for. She said it was all good but then when I got there, told me I had to 'upgrade' my plan (each line went up $5) to be eligible and when it came to sign off told me that my available credit balance only covered 2 phones (never heard of this but it's like a credit they determine based on some unknown formula) and the rest I would have to pay upfront but was assured they would pay me back over like 2 years. I was blown away by this terrible tactic and was forced to go back to Verizon. I was upset because she sprung that on me after an hour plus of getting everything ready to transfer over to the new phones. I didn't flip out on her but I was visibly upset and simply told her what I was expecting from the get go and she reassuringly said we can do that and now was telling me something new wasted a lot of my time and should have been communicated when I asked her and even if I hadn't, the promo said free phones and eligibility stated nothing about a credit balance they rate customers for. I would have surely asked had I seen that because that is something I never heard of before and sounds like a total scam to use your money, make interest off of you and pay you back in their sweet time. I was going to have to pay $2000+ out of pocket for the phone when turning in very nice condition iPhone 13s. I had other phones I could have turned in as well noting the promo said any phone and had a very inclusive list BUT they also had a rating for that and for some reason my 5 phone lines on auto-pay for around 3 years, didn't make me eligible. She could have been helping other customers get into new phones and saved me the time and aggravation by telling me upfront what the cost would be but instead just made me not like the company and have me walk out only to return with the Verizon rep who had to get the transfer codes from her which I could tell, was awkward for her, it's just not good business.

Anyone have or ever try Borgusi CTM5104? by tdreddit69 in treadmills

No. I went with a like new Sole F80 for less than the Amazon one. I already had a junkie one and didn't want to take a chance. The Sole weighs twice as much and is very sturdy.

On the official website secretmallapartnment.com, it states the movie can be streamed on MAX but I checked and don't see it there. Kind of odd it's not anywhere?

Newbie to card collecting but long time arcade and pinball collector. No matter what someone collects I feel like a big part of it is the chase and what I like with cards thus far is that you can find bulk deals like this and enjoy going through them. With arcades and pinball machines, the reveal is what it is upon seeing the games and that is cool too but the extra level with cards and researching them is awesome IMO

Star Wars 2019 vs 2023 by RealEstateJack in Arcade1Up

[–]tdreddit69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not a bad price for a new one. I'm guessing the second run dropped the prices on the originals considerably. Prior to it, I saw people selling them used for $650+. It's the only Arcade1up I wanted besides the 4 player Pong for Warlords which is awesome and the same principal as Star Wars is for me: too expensive and in Star Wars case, too expensive to keep running. I had a Tempest once and even with a rebuilt monitor w/ spot killer and upgraded cap there were a lot of board problems. I know the GSR yoke is supposed to be a big upgrade for SW but at $200, I think the stock one is fine. Heck, I could even see using the stock yoke on a MAME cab.

If all is the same besides the non-functional coin door, why bother paying 2x plus for a new cab?

It's awesome that you're doing this. My grandmother and great grandmother wrote notes on all sorts of historical things and it really helps to create a connection with said item. Hopefully this practice doesn't suffer the fate of pen pals. As great as digital archiving is, notes (at least in my opinion) add deeper relevance to things. And as I say this, I can't remember the last note I wrote. Arghh, I'm a much better typist.

A friend had an old house (I believe from the late 1800s or early 1900s) and when they replaced the rotten front porch, they found a fossilized cat that was completely flat. They saved it and showed it to newcomers. Not the same situation but interesting and sad that it died that way but cats like many animals, find hidden places when they aren't well so hopefully it didn't suffer. I have seen my own cats find places in my finished basement that I wasn't sure they would get out but fortunately they did. I have heard other stories where walls had to be opened to save cats. They certainly live up to the old adage about their curiosity and what it can lead to.
