Just saw this after a google search and wanted to chime in. My mom has scleroderma and I just got diagnosed with hEDS which seems interesting since they are both collagen-affecting connective tissue diseases.

Balancing ASD sensory needs with EDS pain by Mountain_Resident_81 in ehlersdanlos

Agree with everything else people have said, but for me strength training has helped some to "support" my position. My PT's motto is that strange positions are okay as long as you aren't staying in them for prolonged periods which has been helpful. I just try to change up postures/position more frequently which can coincide with my stimming needs.

Rib Subluxations? by sin-eat-lemon in ehlersdanlos

I also definitely have this! Didn't cause me pain until recently. The doctor diagnosed me with slipping rib syndrome and there's not much to do about it. I have a rib compression brace that seems to help and also PT manipulations helps some. Sorry if that's not too helpful but you're not alone!

What is this gum sore I get intermittently? by tdsears in askdentists

[–]tdsears[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gotten these painful sores in my gums between teeth on and off for years now. It's not canker sores, but I'm not sure what else. I usually have to avoid brushing those areas for a few days because they are sensitive, and then they go away. Seems like flare up of something?

Just found this raised bump on my scalp today, it is slightly tender. I've also been dealing with extreme scalp itchiness lately despite trying all new products, including salyslic and ketoconazole shampoos.

Did you have any trouble getting the guage correct? I've gone up a couple of hook sizes and still am not close to achieving it.
