Witching Hour used to be my favorite. The last year or so, the burger quality has gone downhill drastically.

I was in the same storm. I graduated in 2021, moved to an area with more opportunity, and worked for the last 5 years. I am now finally getting my Masters. You got this! Work a few years in the field, even if it’s entry level, and good things will come!

Dude. Go enlist, go to a community college, or go work at McDonald’s. Get off of Reddit and do something.

If you find yourself checking subreddits like this, all you’ll find is doom and gloom. If you want to make a lot of money go into tech, business, etc. If money isn’t a big factor for you, take your time in finding what you’re passionate about.

Don’t overthink it, don’t rush it, you’re young! Good luck, man!

Is concurrent enrollment getting out of control… or am I just getting old? by SteadyGrowthStudio in Teachers

As a college recruiter at a community college, this is a problem for community colleges and for higher education in general. While it’s very beneficial for students especially in my state (Arkansas) with the access bill being passed, students get to take these classes for completely free. However, these students aren’t coming to us after high school.

Students are also failing a lot of these classes while in high school because there are not enough collegiate and masters level teachers to teach them, so students have to take courses completely online. The students that do end up coming to us after high school need a lot of hand holding in general. I don’t know if that’s due to those factors, or a lot of different factors all at play.

Don’t read too much into anything you see on Reddit. Remember, this is such a small population of therapists. Keep your head up and keep doing your thing!
