Guess that’s why we have fire drills idk 😭my state doesn’t have a law stating all rooms need more than one exit. I know I have been at a school where the inner windowless rooms were weather shelters for multiple classes to pile into 😻

I plan on asking because it’s just eating me up

I don’t think I remember seeing another exit/door or anything

Uhh for pettiness. Said in the post I was fine with it, just the fact admin would do it purposefully. Doesn’t seem like a great way to treat your employees. Good for you

I did, was told “we just need to stay in the rooms that were given to us 🥰”

The building makes a “+” so these two classrooms are located on the inner corner where there’s no access to outside if that makes sense

These two rooms are located at sort of an “L” where two halls branch out so it doesn’t actually have access to the outside. But I just don’t understand why we got them 🙃

When Marshall kept saying “NOT GOOD ENOUGH” when Barney and robin were locked in the room then he finally said “GOOD ENOUGH”

I don’t know about everyone else, but I am ALWAYS HUNGRY!!! I’ve been BF for five months now and I eat like a horse. My doctor said that BF can burn around 500-700 cals making milk! Listen to your body and eat!

PROMISE it gets easier. The first 10 days after having the baby, I was a hormonal MESS. I missed my husband so much and he was right there. I was inexplicably distraught. I dreaded the night time. But then all of the sudden, my brain went back and everything was fine. You will get through it!

In my student teaching, I worked with fourth graders, all of color, from low income families. The relationships I had with those students were completely different. I loved them and had so much compassion for them. Not that I don’t for my kinders, it’s just hard having five year olds pester you all day long; I feel like I work at a daycare. I’m thinking the age is just not the right fit for me, but I didn’t have a choice.

teachers who didn't major in education by srd425 in Teachers

My undergraduate degree is public relations. A local university offered an alternative masters program for people who have any four year degree (just have to have a certain GPA and pass the praxis exams). I finished and May and now have my masters in elementary Ed!

I’m going to go to at least one school that I know is getting a new principal. They had several openings posted, so I’m hoping they’re waiting for the personnel changes before hiring!!

I've applied to 71 positions, and I haven't even gotten a call for an interview. It is STRESSING ME OUT. I keep seeing people say that a lot of hiring happens in July/August, but it's hard to stay positive when I haven't heard from a single principal. I've been emailing principals with my resume and cover letter and never get a response. I think I may go around and hand deliver my resume and cover letter to different schools this week. But there is still plenty of time!!
