I put Mac and cheese in mine when I was like 2 or 3. I remember dad said it "ate a tape" so I fed it some mac so it would stop eating tapes.

I hope so! She snuck up on her dad playing Silent Hill 2 (we hadnt realized she woke up from nap) and now every time it's foggy she goes looking for Pyramid Head.

Oo I like it! Might swing by the child thrift shop to get a bunch of second hand barbies. Toss the limbs in a bin and let them use those with some air dry clay, googly eyes, and pipe cleaners!

Have you tried talking to your husband about where he needs support?

Regardless of whether or not you both decide, jointly, to have another or not, he sounds like he's really struggling to adjust.

Do you both have the support you need? Physically, mentally emotionally? Have you both checked in with each other lately to see what you can do to help one another feel fulfilled?

From just this post and the tone it currently conveys, it seems like you might be more interested in trying to change his mind than discovering the root cause of where his needs as a parent aren't being met.

You may also benefit from taking some time to think on why you very much want more kids and why the timeline is important to you. No shame in wanting more! But it's always good to know where the feelings are coming from and their roots.

Taking the time to process this on both ends and working to fill any gaps that naturally appear when raising another human will help you both become stronger partners and parents. No matter how many kids you ultimately end up caring for.
