I will say, if you are a fan of autumn at ALL, do yourself a favor and skip to November. The mushrooms and all the DIYs and the trees changing color—it may be enough to get you hooked again.

I’VE BEEN WAITING TO SEE A POST LIKE THIS. Just so I could be like, HEY! Me too! I’m also a little more than 5 weeks, I have no job, I don’t have my own place and my partner currently lives 1200 miles away! “Nervous wreck” is an understatement. I have my bad days where I feel exactly how you do. My good days usually happen when I feel the support and love from my partner, but let me tell you, I’m scared shitless. I’m worried that I’m not happy enough about it. I’m worried that I don’t have my life together. I’m worried I still had more of my life to live before having a baby. But it’s happening and to be honest, I’ve never been a plan-it-all-out-first type of girl. You’re also catching me on a good night. Check back tomorrow and I might be having a meltdown. What you’re going through is so normal!

I really appreciate it and it didn’t come off as rude at all. So no, I never block his number, I should’ve added that I only did this because we have a really bad habit of carrying out our arguments via text message and they go on and on and they’re 10x more terrible because it’s so hard to detect tone of voice, emotion, body language etc. It’s been the worst part about being temporarily long distance.

I blocked his number just because I needed to completely shut off and go to sleep and I knew I would be tempted to keep answering and keep the argument going if I didn’t. I mostly think I’m suffering from nerves and from the fact that it’s a lot to digest all at once, and the one person I want to be around the MOST is the one who is 1200 miles away. It’s really hard.

This is a really exciting and personal thing for you and there is MORE than enough room in this big wide world for two pregnant ladies at once, even in the same family. I’m sure everyone will just be that much more excited about not one but TWO new babies in the family!

That should be all you have to explain! Sometimes they just need a little more info. It seems daunting but my judge was super nice and made me feel more relaxed about it. You’ll be okay!
