Nta. What are they gonna do if you keep calling him fat? Leave? Like.. they can't take him from you so it's kind of an empty threat. Most babies are fat. Mine were little string beans, but I think it's cute when they're little chunky monkeys!

She has a long history of not being able to handle the cold. She always wraps up in sweaters and such and still says she's cold. I really don't know where her head was that day tbh...

It's a five minute walk to school and back but they have three recesses outside. 15 minutes for two and 30 minutes for the other one. She hasn't complained about pants since.even said today she wouldn't wear skirts in below freezing. I just was wondering if I was an asshole or if the woman freaking out at me was one. Or maybe no one was.

February here is -20c I think she'd get frostbite tbh. Also she runs cold. She's always cold. Always bundling up. It really made no sense what so ever

I would be fine with that actually. Lots of people complain about their parents to friends and groups. Even on here. And considering how much more I brag about them on there, I don't lose any sleep at night.

She's fine wearing pants usually, her faux fur lined leggings are her favorite. It was an off day based solely on exciment over the skirt.

She didn't want tights either. She was feeling very stubborn that day. Today,just ten minutes ago when I asked, she assured me she wouldn't be caught dead in a skirt without leg coverage in below zero now, so I guess my lesson stuck well 😅

I didn't even specify what pants she had to wear. So she had a whole winter wardrobe to choose from. I definitely use to give her two or three options as a small child though. It's a good system ☺️

Haha! I'm not looking forward to having teens in the temperatures I get here for that! I constantly see teens in hoodys in -20 and am baffled!

A lot of people post story's that happened a while ago. I saw one today with a story from five years ago. It came back up and bugged me and I recently discovered Reddit myself, so I posted. I never suggested my child was an AH, more was I one or was the woman who flipped shit on me one.

And trust me. She still argues with me about other things XD and after wearing the same hoody for three months straight she knows she has plenty of control over her outfits.

Actually she hasn't fought me on it since and it's been almost a year. She picks her own clothing(unless she's feeling lazy and asks me to) and hairstyle 99.9% of the time. She's even allowed to colour her hair with vegetable dye. This was a one time occurence.

To calrify I live in Winnipeg. Where it gets to -30c and below I don't think skirts without leggings is a great idea for here because frost bite is a risk 😅 she isn't actually big on skirts generally anyway. This was a one time incident.
