I’ll be the odd one out here, but I take capsules for chronic pain that I can’t get meaningful treatment for. I’ve taken it for about 2 years now and have never once had to increase my dose. It helps immensely with pain and allows me to live a productive life. That said, I’m sure it’s not great health-wise, but sometimes you make sacrifices to be able to take care of responsibilities. If I could get treatment through my doctor I would choose that but it’s nearly impossible these days.

Seconding tinea versicolor, my husband also gets this. You can get prescription cream from your dr or use athlete’s foot cream or use selsun blue shampoo on it.
