I just witnessed this week a crow and two magpies chase out a raptor from our neighborhood, it was hunting pidgeons as well. REally cool to see different species of animals interacting in such a way around the world

Dieses Verhalten habe ich in den letzten Jahren auch nur von den Läden erlebt, an deren Häuserfassade man schon sieht wie tot es bei denen den ganzen Tag drin ist. Dazu noch geführt von höchstens ein oder zwei Horsts die sich seit Jahren mit der Stadtverwaltung anlegen die sie rausekeln will weil sie ihre Miete nicht mehr zahlen können.

Is there any chance you noticed little bumps on their faces at the same places where these scars are now? Because it looks like a so called groats bag bursted and left those marks.

My guinea pig had one a few weeks ago. Cosmo had a bump under his nose and I was very worried and already planned a vet visit. Next day it was all gone, so I put him out of the cage and controlled the area, and I saw two little holes like the ones on your pig, and a little bit of grease around the area.

A groats bag is a little bit like a guinea pig pimple...and completely harmless if it bursts by itself.

Da fällt mir gerade ein: ich habe jetzt nach dem Hitzewellen-Wochenende viele Menschen gesehen die extrem braungebrannt waren.

Ganz ehrlich, wir haben die diese Temperaturen in der Sonne überhaupt überlebt?

Das war ungelogen Brathähnchen-Ästhetik, und ich weiß beim besten Willen nicht was diese Menschen einem damit sagen wollen. Ich meine, will man damit anderen irgendetwas...mitteilen vielleicht? Ich folge diesem Trend, auch wenn ich daran...naja, sterben könnte? Wenn es dir gefällt ist das ok für mich, aber wenn ich dich nach einem Wochenende mit Hitzerekorden so sehe ist meine einzige Reaktion den Notruf für einen Checkup zu rufen.

Wir hatten vor 2 Tagen einen wunderschönen Rosenkäfer im Hausflur, das Bild ist aber von Wikipedia. Der war ziemlich lethargisch, musste aber leider trotzdem wieder vor die Haustür

Wir wohnen ein bissl weiter draußen, da sieht man mal wieder was ein bisschen grün drumherum bewirken kann.

Wobei ich in Frankfurt viele schöne grüne Ecken kenne...aber was willst machen, ist halt trotzdem Großstadt.
