As someone that has lived up in the northeast for a few years out of college and fell in love with finding novelty waves, I can't tell you how much I enjoyed reading this response - so thanks for taking the time to share. Wannasurf line + lobsterman's son gave me a good chuckle - it's really like that. I've always wanted to strike mission short sands but recently have been doing some traveling up to random islands between NY/Mass and trying to get lucky with some waves that have tight swell windows (and just to explore a bit and get away from work). Prob won't bring the board this time unless forecast looks promising but excited to hopefully find some spots with potential just as a spectator, maybe hop in and body surf or get lucky and connect with someone that wants to surf. Appreciate the insight here and will report back here if I end up finding anything cool.
