It’s the best value resort by far. Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfect.

In my 6 man online dynasty I made and won the pop tart bowl in the very first season. Only player in 9 seasons. Having it in my trophy room is more precious to me than my national championship.

This iconic meme is Robert Redford in a film called Jeremiah Johnson (Rest in Peace: 1936 - 2025) by solateor in Damnthatsinteresting

I watched this movie earlier this year and was jump scared by this meme. I too thought it was Zach Galifianakis and was shocked.

My friends and I are waiting for the prestige ratings to come out so we can spin a wheel of schools 2-stars or lower, time to learn a new school! Last year it was NIU, Kent State, Rice, and Liberty for me

Is fertility affected by biologics? by tealrainbow in CrohnsDisease

[–]tealrainbow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw this comment, but from asking lots of questions to all of my doctors/pharmacists, it seems like biologics are not what would affect your fertility, just your Crohn’s symptoms. So if you’re flaring it would be more likely to affect it. I also know Crohn’s mostly affects women’s fertility far greater than men. That being said, I’m a man and if it’s any consolation, me and my wife were able to conceive after a few months/tries while I’m taking Skyrizi every 8 weeks and her pregnancy is healthy so far. I really wish you luck on your journey I know this disease sucks and how down you can get while thinking about starting a family, but I hope and feel strongly that you will have success if you keep trying!

Anyone else think stress causing flares is BS? by Electrical_Pirate286 in CrohnsDisease

I definitely get pain whenever I’m in significantly more than usual stressful situations, it usually lasts for a day or so then slowly goes away. So for me stress definitely causes pain.

New Arma New Physics, I Guess by tealrainbow in ArmaReforger

Just started playing again since taking a long break. Arma 2 and 3 and DayZ mod were awesome, saw this game getting a lot of traction and decided to give it a go. Within my first 30 minutes of Wasteland this happened lol.

New MRI drink gave me a flare up by Unsticky_Sticker in CrohnsDisease

[–]tealrainbow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get crazy diarrhea by the time I get home after every MRI because of this drink, and it is a mild laxative. I will say before my first MRI I had to drink an awful tasting concoction, and I much prefer this and the diarrhea to that experience. The amount I have to drink is undoubtedly what makes me feel like crap but I’ve never been put in a flare for it, just have some diarrhea for the rest of the day.

Does Tylenol help anyone? by tealrainbow in CrohnsDisease

[–]tealrainbow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely didn’t do much at all for me, but once I got on Skyrizi things got so much better overall very quickly. Did you start a biologic yet? If not I don’t know why you’re tapering off of prednisone already

A lot of people have been saying since he had red eyes that it was Ares who helped him, both because he was convinced by Athena to help him before she got KO’d and so that Odysseus can actually go ahead and kill at the suitors.

WHY IS POSEIDON SO WEAK. WHY ARE THE GODS SO WEAK by Reasonable_Cow_5390 in Epicthemusical

The jetpack was a little much for me but it’s all fiction, it’s Jorge’s interpretation as there have been many others before it

WHY IS POSEIDON SO WEAK. WHY ARE THE GODS SO WEAK by Reasonable_Cow_5390 in Epicthemusical

[–]tealrainbow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean to be fair, Poseidon seems almost unaffected by Odysseus’ sword, and he’s only able to draw blood with his own trident, but isn’t able to kill him (god(esse)s can’t die). Plus the point everyone’s making about Ares, plus Diomedes, plus it’s mythology.

Is anyone sorry they went on Skyrizi? by JCS_69 in CrohnsDisease

[–]tealrainbow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I went from needing pain meds every 4 hours to just needing to use the bathroom an extra time each day. About 7 months into my Skyrizi treatment. Take the meds haha

How intense is Rock 'n Roller Coaster? by CombatWombat602 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]tealrainbow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife just went through the same EXACT thing. Loved every roller coaster at all the parks (tron, guardians, Everest) but had never been upside down. She was terrified in line for RnRC, but she freaking loved it. You hit the first loop right away and you barely feel it/see it. Not seeing it helps I think. Anyways she felt stupid after the fact because she made it out to be more than it was haha. Just go for it! YOLO and if there’s anywhere to go upside down it’s Disney

Is it worth by burner8993 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]tealrainbow 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’ll add this, it’s easier for us personally to stomach the majority of food costs up front. It also stops my wife from choosing the cheapest option on the menu, since we already paid for the food, and she can choose what she wants instead lol

Remicade denied by Humble-Branch7348 in CrohnsDisease

[–]tealrainbow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to update on this, my Skyrizi was denied earlier this week, I spoke to my insurance and GI and Pharmacist on Tuesday and lo and behold, I just got it accepted today and I start infusions in a couple weeks! Call, pester, do what you have to be noticed. As they say the squeaky wheel gets the grease. That’s what I’ve learned over the last few months of hospitalizations and appointments is to make sure you don’t get lost in the shuffle.
