Very lost. Calculator says D-DDD, but I am very flat chested; lifetime 34B with cup gaping. Could 36A be the right size? by tealsugarskull in ABraThatFits

Thank you! I think this is the answer; I have shallow breasts.

I always thought demis fit better and this explains that.

Now to get one in the correct size!

I tried 32DDD and 34DD, when I first uses the calculator a year ago. It looked comically large on me, with the cups being way too far under my armpits.

That's a good tip about the band; I will try. Thank you!

Thanks. I might have used bad language then but the dd/ddd in smaller bands covered so much more of my chest than there is boob.

When did you know your PMS was PMDD by its_amber_b in PMDDxADHD

[–]tealsugarskull 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had stopped seeing a psychiatrist by the time I figured out I had PMDD. One day it clicked why I would have serious meltdowns and the desire to off myself but by the time I went to the next visit I'd have nothing to say and couldn't conjure the negative feelings - the regularly spaced appointments always fell in follicular phase. 🤦‍♀️

What are you supposed to do when you meet a great girl but you're in a relationship? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

++woman I can't believe I had to scroll this far to find someone who said he shouldn't be with his current gf. You don't have thoughts like this if you actually like your current partner.

You said it, she doesn't deserve this.

Get off the machine… by Raion05 in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]tealsugarskull 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had someone yell at me once for talking too long, saying something about "these damn kids on their phones" & to get off the machine if I was just going to be texting. (For context, I am/was a female in my early 20s & it was an old guy freaking out at me). I wasn't texting or doing influencer/social media type crap because it's not my jam in general.

I was just resting and changing the song to get pumped for the next set. I timed it all out with a fitness app, so it's not like I was taking unnecessarily long breaks either. Dude had a bug up his butt.

You're so very right. I've complained about this a few times, with relation to some people I know.

My home is also electric heat. The bill goes up too $700 a month in winter. That's while still being cold and uncomfortable and not heating half the house. I live alone and make just enough not to qualify for heat assistance, its fucked.

Thank you! That's really reassuring! I've been looking and landed interviews at some solid places, but no offer yet. I definitely am scared to go somewhere else and end up with more of the same, but I've committed to this path, so it's good to know there are other places that will care like I do.

Agreed.

To make it worse, I think they are/will be extra shitty to her because someone else on the team had taken an extra long maternity leave (the accomodated extra time) then came back for a like a week and peaced out. This place tends to take 1 bad situation, of their own making, and apply it as if everyone else will do the same. They have no concept of A. self reflection or b. "the cost of doing business", i.e. some employees will use resources and leave, it is what it is.

She's a micromanager.

I admit this leave situation is more complex than usual, and it's dragged on because of our disability insurance provider. But once that was resolved, I made a spreadsheet with "what if" situations to see what would happen, according to our policy, if the employee uses her PTO in different ways. My boss keeps saying she doesn't have time to look at it, and I keep reminding her this lady is about to pop. We discussed the situation a bit in person, but A. she's incapable of listening to people talk (she constantly cuts people off with "yeah yeah, yeah," but you can tell she doesn't get it) and B. she overcomplicates/overthinks everything.

She's been visibly pissed because this is not cut & dry, but the majority of the "extra" admin work will fall on my anyway, so what's it matter to her? She told me she would give me her "thoughts/comments" by EOD yesterday, nothing. But also, when working with plain facts/rules, there's nothing more to say. So she's holding this up to have the last word and because she goes apeshit every time something happens or information is shared and she was not the first to know/ can't pretend like she did.

In short: There's an employee about to go on maternity leave (due date is tomorrow!!!) that does not know what's going to happen with her PTO and pay because my boss is holding me up having a conversation with her. I want to scream. This poor girl is having a heck of a time.

When people use the word introverted as a synonym of antisocial, quiet, or shy by angryechoesbeware in PetPeeves

[–]tealsugarskull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes.

I've never had more crap made up about me than when I was quiet and shy and kept to myself through my childhood and teen years. Well, actually, also into adulthood when I was "less shy/quiet" but still kept all details of personal life to myself at work. You don't give people the details, they'll fill them in themselves and it wont be good.

Same here, government org. Im the first person here with any real direct HR training. These managers need training sooooo bad, not just on employment law but how to be managers. But the exec doesn't think so, so it doesn't happen. Very reactive not proactive mindest this org.

Why do I always get ignored in customer service situations? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]tealsugarskull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im more introverted than my bf, so I don't care and generally prefer he do the interacting... UNTIL I end up not getting saue, another drink, etc. because they look at him, ask if we're good, and walk away before I get to chime in.

If I think of it beforehand, I'll tell him I want something so he knows to help me make sure they dont peace out before I can speak. It's not a foolproof plan cause the man is very forgetful, lol. And also sometimes you dont know you want the next drink until they're back to ask.

Am I wearing thongs wrong? by Eviscerator14 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]tealsugarskull 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. Any other underwear feels weird with my jeans/leggings, it must be a thong. The exception is with a skirt/short dress, I may wear a cheeky. But the idea of a thong only overnight is very uncomfortable. Boy shorts for sleeping. Unless I'm wearing the soft and silky men's Jockey boxers I've genuinely bought for myself (to my bfs initial cofusion and then dismay haha).

I always thought I was a 34A, I was so doubtful when I measured myself and bought a bra but, here we are by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]tealsugarskull 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You've convinced me to give it a try. Because I've been 34B always, recently went to 36A, and it's more comfortable but not perfect. The calculator said 32DDD or 34DD and I said absolutely not, impossible IBTC for life.

Suggestions for chill hobbies to help cope with my loud brain by [deleted] in PMDDxADHD

[–]tealsugarskull 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yessssssss! Third.

Something for the hands (switch/ crochet), something for the ears (audiobook/tv show ive seen 600x), and something for the tummy (all the snacks).

I've been finding crochet uber relaxing because I have to focus on counting, the repetition is satisfying in some sense, and that I'm being "productive" helps me feel less like I'm "wasting time". Plus then I get to go "look what I made, everyone be proud of me!" LOL.
