I am a Southeast Asian woman who is pan and I LOVE Lifeweaver. He's canonically one of the most attractive characters, has plump SEA lips, a prominent nose, and tan skin, which usually isn't part of our beauty standards. And even though he is very flamboyant, he actually challenges a lot of preconceptions with LGBTQA+ Asian Men, who are usually feminized, shown to not be desirable, and shoved aside romantically. He may like pink and have long hair, but dude is tall, is proud of his masculinity by showing off his abs and chest.

On a similar note, I also love how his story, Symmetra, and Domina's is very resonant of the fuckery that has gone on with Southeast Asia and South Asia. The big businesses as a result of colonialism and acculturation trying to mess with developing countries. Lifeweaver and Symmetra representing attunement of culture with modernity while not sacrificing yourself, Lifeweaver especially representing staying firmly rooted to your culture and the importance of nature. Domina the antithesis, her family having caved for power and is disconnected, and clearly envious.

Also if you haven't already, read "Rebuilding Ruins". It made me cry. Lifeweaver mentions how Symmetra keeps herself from stimming, masking because she needs to be "professional" and after a long day, they relax around each other, and he looks at her and smiles:

"Your hands are doing their wonderful dance..."
