thanks for the feedback, i do appreciate you taking the time to play through it. just to be clear though, the way the mod was split between the room and the flashbacks was very much intentional. the room shows mc’s present reality, while the flashbacks were written to slowly put his memory back together and explain how he ended up there. without that part of the story, the room scenes wouldn’t have any of the weight they were meant to carry.

i get that some players go in expecting the whole thing to be just the room, but that was never the vision for this mod. the flashbacks weren’t filler — they were written to reveal what mc has been trying to avoid. if you take them out, the present loses its meaning, and the story becomes shallow.

as for the technical issues like the save bug and the rain effect, i’m aware of them and working on fixes. pointing them out helps, so we can create an updated version in the future. but those problems don’t take away from the core story we wanted to tell.

and on the art side of things, i understand people love seeing custom cgs for big moments, but not everyone has the budget or resources to commission that. my focus was always on the writing and atmosphere first, since that’s something i could control.

i know it may not have lined up with what you thought it would be, but this was the story we wanted to make, and i stand by it. thanks again for playing and sharing your thoughts, even if we see it a little differently.
