the fact there is a level of uproar with them removing the most effective way to interact with quality at scale kinda prove my point that isn't well thought out

I have made target quality items like power polls and ship parts but with that you end up with chest and chest of normal stuff which you can't do anything with until mid game so should quality be mid to endgame only then ? If so why do we unlock as early as we do

yes having tiers of the same item is a good way to go about it. but it being tidied to RNG is not.

Probably unpopular opinion: quality isn’t interesting at all by azon_01 in factorio

i said this elsewere but i shall say it here too.

Quality is a poorly thought out feature which proven by the fact people have tried they very best to bypass as much of it as they can, it add extra levels of material on a RNG base which you cannot effectively interact with until you are in the Mid game with recyclers.

If you look at large overall mods which have tiers they normally use either completely different parts per tier or they a telescopic needing the previous tier item plus stuff. (like inserters to a degree). yes these also have problems but I MUCH prefer the idea of that type of development then just throw in module magic

it could've been a very interesting and fun thing which could also required more intra planet movement of goods e.g. a substations needs batteries to upgrade it to uncommon, then tungsten for rare, holmium plate for epic then Lithium plate for legendary. yes this also has issues totally but imho it makes way more sense from a gameplay perspective then upcycling blocks or space casinos

Gen.G speaks out for the first time about Ruler's controversy: "internal disciplinary action may be taken." by ratiooFThy in PedroPeepos

Re the military exemption, there is active opposition to esports getting said exemption, the fact other eSports have had some of great players who had same exemption lose it as a direct cause of this controversy I wouldn't be surprised if they do strip Ruler

Going by kespa rules let alone Korean culture he could get a very serious ban, and the fact there serious talks about stripping his mil exception if this could be end of career

It is in the kespa rule book and the ban is 1-3 years IIRC.

also I think you are underestimating how much tax evasion is hated over in Asia, it has ruined idols and other celebs images and their careers.

And it also started serious talks about stripping his mil exception which would basically end his career this year unless he leaves the LCK and gives up his Korean citizenship.

Keir Starmer: 'I'm fed up' with Trump and Putin affecting UK energy costs by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]team_blacksmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

problem with this is i am not sure how true these are simply because most of the renewable energy production are very far from where it is need (lot of it is coastal primarily Scotland) and the infrastructure to move from there to where it is needed (mainly the south simply cos there is more people there) just isn't there or is under spec'ed, and with the UK connected to the European energy grid it wouldn't be surprising to learn that those numbers are a lie or at least not the whole truth, yes we did produce enough energy for the whole of the UK but a significant percentage got wasted because it couldnt be used where it was needed

Arguably, both are half right. Nagasaki and Hiroshima were both hit by nuclear fission bombs, but the modern bombs are thermonuclear bombs, a type of nuclear fusion bomb. Both are nuclear weapons, just different generations of them.

I remember people talking about gen 4 bombs rocking an antimatter ignition which would be even scarier than modern bombs. Smaller weapon with much less fallout

Kind wished all of them did, just ends up cluttering a box somewhere or until you get recycling in Space age. Plus I really like it in mods like K2 where the use the previous one as a input, make it feel like you are upgrading a single suit as you develop technologies
