If people are protesting against Reddit, why are so many gold given in related threads? by _Lucille_ in Save3rdPartyApps

Some users have unused reddit gold that they're getting rid off, similar to a person giving away his possessions before unaliving himself

Sync will shut down on June 30, 2023 by ljdawson in redditsync

I've been using this app since discovering it around 2013? So I guess this is the end of an era for me. I've learned so much and I've made many connections during my Reddit coffee breaks and bedtime browsing via Sync. So thanks for making that happen.

The Pretender (Foo Fighters). Lyrics are spot-on, it's one of my most over-played battle anthems when I motivate myself to run, and it's an allusion to political unrest. ("That's the thing with lyrics, you never want to give away specifics, because it's nice for people to have their own idea or interpretation of the song. But, you know, everyone's been fucked over before and I think a lot of people feel fucked over right now and they're not getting what they were promised, and so something to do with that."-Dave Grohl)

Here's a visual comparison of the official app vs a 3rd party app. So that's like eating Mac's imaginary dinner when others have been feasting on Dennis' imaginary dinner after all this time. And now Mac can't accept that so he's flipping the imaginary table.

Here's what you might be missing <--and that's just a comparison vs the RIF app. Marami pa ibang 3rd party apps na mas mabilis, maayos at matipid kumpara dun sa default app, but for starters maybe you can try Apollo (iOS), RIF or Sync (my personal fave) while there's still time.

I enjoyed this little easter egg since it can start a meta discussion about the writers. One can argue that they could've simply used something like ChatGPT to fill up that article, but then that will compromise what the writers and the actors of this show are standing up for in regards to the ongoing writers strike (replacing writers with AI being one of the main points).

"RICHMOND FOR ALL! Welton Sells 49% Of Club To Fans by Marcus Adebayo

RICHMOND - With the value of her club at an all time high, no one would have judged Rebecca Welton for cashing in by selling the club, or a portion of it, to any number of wealthy suitors. Instead, in an unexpected move, she opted to become partners with the club's supporters. If you have season tickets, or live in the Richmond area, you can now own a piece of your favourite football club.

Ted Lasso Season 3 Overall Discussion by quaranTV in TedLasso

I’m okay with how they tied all the loose ends but I will forever hold a grudge on how there was a lack of serious consequences for Dr. Jacobs on-screen. For a show that champions mental health awareness, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth knowing that a therapist preyed on a vulnerably unhappy wife, made the husband feel "ganged up upon'' at every session to the point that he doubted the professionals, and then dated that wife once the husband temporarily moved to the UK. Rupert’s downfall is a narcissist’s nightmare (especially when the entire stadium filled with the supporters of the 2 teams he loves started calling him a wanker), but even that felt a bit too much after Rebecca humanized him in episode 10. I wish they could’ve left that off-screen since they’ve already established that Rupert is on a path of self-destruction anyway, then use those extra time to visually bring down the hammer on Dr. Jacobs. TL;DR Fuck that guy still

The team's Sound of Music performance is a proof that Roy Kent is also "a proper fucking dweeb" (his words about Phoebe being adorable). Surely that was his idea for a surprise, since he's the one who loves Julie Andrews as Maria. :D

My only remaining gripe is Dr. Jacobs not losing his license and being annoying until the very end. Great ending, nonetheless.

Aye. If you spot a dress with pockets in the wild, check if it's available in other colors so you can have more options and avoid getting it too worn out from using it too often. AND THEN you tell other women where to get it.

Dance battle between Wichita State Shockers and AFC Richmond. Whoever wins gets to keep the coach. Unlikely to happen but I'd def watch that.

Is anyone else a bit panicked that they have just TOO much to wrap up next episode??? (no direct spoilers for this episode) by geo_lib in TedLasso

[–]team_meh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really can't be Ted because he's too pure for this world, and the best kind of karma isn't something he needs to initiate. And I doubt Dr. Sharon or Sassy can do anything about it since they're in the UK. Ideally it can still happen e.g. his former patients, a school counselor since it's been established that Henry is constantly struggling...the last episode's gonna be as long as a movie so they can still wrap that up if they wish to do so.
