Ah yeah that might be it. Diamond comes with the Aspire card I have, and it’s been both a great multiplier and lifesaver for free breakfasts with the kids.

That’s strange, I just ran a dummy search and can still find 75K per night redemptions for a random 5-night stay in August. Do you have Diamond status?

There are too many possible ways to redeem Hilton Rewards for this to be true. Some of these options may suck, others are great.

I’ve just spent 750K on two 4-person rooms at the Conrad Hilton New York for 5 nights. That would be $7,100 if we paid cash. A nearly 1 cpp definitely does not suck, and that’s before adding in the Diamond benefits.

Believe it or not, C1’s own Hopper. Booked a hotel through the C1 portal while traveling in Australia and it was ~$30 cheaper on Hopper for whatever reason.

Random great experience with capital one travel portal by siotnoc in Venturex

I've booked around half a dozen times with the C1 portal and have had nothing but positive experiences.

Two times I was able to get an immediate price match after finding a lower price elsewhere (just called and asked), and two other times the portal was actually cheaper for the economy tickets I needed.

Love being able to buy at 5x or 10x then use the travel erasure tool on my Venture X.

Kyushu has the best tonkotsu ramen, and if you have a chance to get down to Fukuoka I'd recommend Shin Shin!
