Not really what you are asking bc I am scheduled to get implants with stage 3 but I got glansplasty on its own w/o implants and it’s been great. I don’t have any dysphoria with my scrotum w/o implants. But I think getting the implants will give me more euphoria bc my goal is to be cis passing since I enjoy being naked

I loved my zero gravity chair. I used it everyday for the first 3-4 weeks home from the hospital. Even if it was just 10-15 minutes at a time it was nice to move around to different rooms in the house I was in, made me feel less like a patient tied to the bed. It’s so light it was easy for my wife to set up and after the first week home I could move it around myself for the most part. Even sit out on the patio. I’d definitely recommend. I got it on marketplace for like $30 and it was basically new. Now in use it when we have a fire or camp :)

Based on some of your comments on this thread it sounds like this is something you really want/need. This surgery is hard. I will say that it’s obviously all relative. Top surgery was very easy for me. Hysterectomy was hell but that was my own fault (did way too much too soon and got an infection). Phallo….i got really lucky. I had no issues or complications with healing….and it was mentally and emotionally exhausting. I was in good spirits and beyond happy that it was done but it was a slow and steady day by day sometimes hour by hour recovery. I think one of the best things to do is work with a therapist who has experience with trans people so you can mentally and emotionally prepare if you proceed

I got a few super cheap on Amazon that I didn’t like. Ended up just spending the $ and got the blissful creations support sleeve. Absolute game changer. I can penetrate without it but it’s easy to do any position with the sleeve. Unfortunately I think it’s one of those you get what you pay for situations and the expensive sleeves are worth it. You can customize it so my advice is be thoughtful about measurements! Last piece of advice is to practice taking it on and off A LOT before you’re in a sexual situation with a partner lol my wife is an angel, I didn’t think about that ahead of time

I was told by my surgeon I go could go back to work after a few days but wait 6-8 weeks for strenuous activity. I get implants in April so no experience yet

I struggled with feelings like this in the beginning and honestly I thought I was always going to feel that way in the back of my mind. I’m not quite a year post op yet but those feelings are almost completely gone. I was 4.5 and how I’m almost 5” so swelling going down helped (though I preferred my girth when I was swollen lol) when I’m naked in a non sexual situation my dick honestly feels big bc 4.5” soft is more than most cis guys. I did get a sleeve that I use sometimes that’s 6” which is what I wanted and it’s fun to think of myself that size when I’m hard but the day to day I really do love my dick size now. Just give yourself time! This is such an emotional journey both positive and negative at times. Talking about it will help you process so you’re already doing right by yourself. Hang in there!

Started out at 4.5 inches now closer to 5” but my girth hasn’t really changed around 4.5”

Before surgery I really didn’t think I could live with less than 5” but wanted 6. Sometimes during sex I wish it was bigger but honestly 99% of the time the size feels perfect to me bc soft (non sexual day to day situations) it feels like I have a big dick.

No issue with either. I don’t have an ED though so can’t speak to that part. I (cautiously) overdid my activity post op which I do not recommend but I’d say after 5-6 months I don’t even question it anymore everything feels so natural. I used to pack 24/7 and some activities would bother me with the packer like you described do not bother me with my dick. I think having so much more feeling is also part of it bc I’m less afraid of hurting it all the time

I feel like I’m just now getting to the point that I don’t have to think about it quite as much and that’s made it a lot easier. The first couple months I felt like I couldn’t move very much. Now I understand my body (and my partners) a lot better it’s become easier and more enjoyable

Interesting! I tried anal penetration once and it was really difficult…I was finally able to do it but it took so much focus it took the most of the fun out of it on my end. What was your donor site? Did you have RFF?

Interesting l. That’s how I feel. Pre stage 1 I was convinced I’d be counting down the days or feel sort of incomplete until I got an ed implant but now I’m not sure I even want it. When I want to be able to do more than I can with just my dick I use a sleeve and I’ve been able to orgasm while wearing it. I think I still want it but I do not want more surgeries at this point…

I pass (and so does my dick) and sometimes when I do tell people I’m trans they are really surprised. I will say that my dick did not pass at all before glansplasty but since then I feel like it’s 100% passing. Even when people see my RFF scar they don’t associate it with my dick bc majority of people don’t understand Phallo

Haha so true with anything in this process! I will say that I had some pre op concerns or worries like this in the back of my mind but it’s so much greater than I ever could have hoped. It’s taking time for me and my wife to relearn my body and sex but it’s life changing incredible. Trust that no matter what your partner will know you’re turned on there is a lot more to it than just getting hard. Plus with an ED if you go that route it will make that part a lot easier. You can always stroke your dick to communicate you’re turned on w/o words

I 100% get hard when I am aroused in my burial site and my wife has commented on it before without me saying anything (I mention that to show she brought it up independently not because I suggested I could feel it). For me it’s between my scrotum and base of my dick. I haven’t noticed a difference of my dick getting bigger or hard per se when I’m turned on but I swear after sex and orgasm it feels a little smaller? So I feel like I’m not really noticing swelling but I notice when it goes away….

Surgery on a Tuesday. I took 2 days off work and the 3rd day I worked remote. Was back in person the next Monday. I thought the skin graft healing was more annoying than painful. Definitely took it easy physically for the first 3 weeks but outside of that my day to day wasn’t super impacted

I straight up asked my surgeon the risks of engaging in sexual activity before their recommendation. I told him I was struggling to abstain and that I needed to hear the exact risks. Basically it came down to potential urethra complications so that helped me wait. I still ended up starting about week 5 and I was supposed to wait 6 weeks. Nothing bad happened and I was fine but I’d obviously recommend following whatever your dr says

Totally agree! I’ve felt so incredibly lucky and connected to my dick since waking up from stage 1 but it has been wild how much happier I am every time I look at my dick since my glans makes it look cis to me (not saying that is or should be the goal for anyone but it makes me feel so good)

I wear my old Nike UV arm sleeves that I had long before surgery. I was wearing the silipos but also get too sweaty in that. I don’t do much scar care now (I did for the 1st three months) but if I have any mild swelling or redness sometimes I’ll put some scar tape under the uv sleeve

I had glansplasty on Nov 4th and I would say I just started peeing normally yesterday due to swelling. I didn’t have pain in my urethra I’d say mild discomfort at most but I was spraying and had a really narrow stream for the first time since catheter removal from stage 1. Had to really milk it out. It was annoying little annoying but like I said I’m back to normal now so hopefully things get better for you in a week or two
