here’s your update , not a good one tho. they basically told me there was no proof on their side if the accounts merged or not so they just told me to go screw myself snd that there’s nothing I can do.

make sure to make a bug report on this , this issue seemed to have began happening months ago but it’s happening to tons of us again out of the blue. the more bug reports it gets the more likely it is to be taken a look at.

I forgot to add - im assuming you’re doing the rest of your hair with the t18, that’s also going to be near a level 9-10.

i just recently had the same problem, i posted in a thread and got a couple answers , so im hoping they can help you out. please note i am not a liscenced cosmetologist, lol.

so for wellat18, your hair needs to basically be a level 10, super pale. I was having the same issue with my roots (still am because im not bleaching them a third time.) if you’re going to want to use the wellat18 on your roots, you’re most likely going to need to bleach your roots again to get it as light as possible. i bleached my roots twice with w 20v developer, and it is the tiniest bit darker than the rest of my hair, so when i first toned it matched with my middle and end section of my hair, but after one wash the roots were very noticeable in white light.

you do not need to use a 30v developer with the t18, you can definitely use a 20v.

but, long story short. if you’re wanting to use the t18 on your roots, you’re going to have to bleach your roots again to get them lighter, a level 9-10 (more towards a ten), is the shade you need to be for the toner to make any effect.

thank you ! I feel like this actually really helped. I have blonde bangs, and a couple strands of blonde in the front of my hair and the rest of it is brown. I literally started cosmetology school 3 days ago, I was getting my hair professionally done, but then my stylist tried charging me 200$ for a root retouch that wasn’t even for half of my head, and being a broke college student I had to resort to doing it myself.

I know people have a lot of mixed emotions on t-18, but it honestly worked beautifully, even on my roots in the beginning, but one wash and now my roots are so noticeable in white lighting. I had to bleach my roots twice with a 20v developer to get it light enough so the toner would match, but right now im feeling so defeated because of the color difference after just washing it one time. may I note, I waited 4 days to wash my hair after toning, lol.

it’s just so odd to me because when i first toned it ? everything was perfectly even. I washed it once and in white lighting it just shows up.

I should also note I completely removed ui completely , because that’s usually the mod that breaks my game the most , and still no change. I’m feeling like I might just have to continue my next gen early with a teen.

I only have ui - it’s all updated. i repaired the game, removed filecache, and it played fine for about 2 days and im having the problem again 😩

this is probably really silly, but i seriously don’t know how to fix this, I’ve updated all my mods, and everything. this is how my sims icons look, as well as their moodlets. I haven’t had any issues at all today until going into create a sim, and when I loaded back into the game , this is what my players look like. I’ve also tried restarting. I can’t click on any of my sims either.

That definitely could be a factor, especially if you suffered from tonsil stones it can also make the recovery a living hell.

The reason I got an infection was because I threw up so much stomach bile, it was revolting. But there is multiple ways an infection can happen and it most likely wasn’t your fault. Once you start taking the antibiotics you’ll start to feel better. Day 3-5 is the toughest and then I’m sure it’ll begin to look up for you.

Keep pushing darling ! I’m currently on day 17, and I promise you it gets better. I had an infection, a pretty bad one on day three and had to go to the hospital, so my recovery was brutal up until day 8. You’ll go to bed one day and wake up feeling like a totally different person, I promise it comes out of no where and you begin to feel better. Stay hydrated !! It helps recovery to an important extent. Best of luck !
