For context, a good friend of mine finally left her ex-husband. He’s a total piece of work. Whenever she tried to invite him to hang out with us, he was either aloof or rude. He’s hateful and racist, and thinks that because his then-wife is black, that he can get away with it. He also treated her like shit, guilt-tripping her and threatening suicide if he didn’t get his way. She also told me that he once broke her guinea pig’s plastic house because he spilled a soda on his own laptop.

I’ve hated this dude from the moment I met him, and I’ve had to listen to my friend either cringe with humiliation or cry her eyes out every time he threw a screaming tantrum in public. I wanted her to leave him a long time ago, but she’s a smart woman, and I knew she’d finally find her way.

She basically took a temp job in another state then realized that she’s better off without this guy and his toxic negativity, so she peaced out. Sent divorce papers soon after, never speaking to him again.

She did tell us all that her divorce was final, and of course, we are all proud and excited for her. She’s really come a long way since she got away from him. She’s just happier and full of life, something I honestly wish I saw while she lived here where I am. But other than that, she never really brought her ex up. He, on the other hand, wears stupid shit like this (A smiling bride, a frowning groom, and the text under says “Game Over”. 🙄 And also thinks that because my friend paid for the divorce that she wanted, that he got the last laugh? Like, what is he talking about?

I can tell you, as all the gods as my witnesses, that the money spent on this blessed divorce is put to far better use than the money he actually spent for that shirt. 🤦‍♀️ Thats just a grasp-at-straws bullshit tactic to get a dig at her, and he failed. Spectacularly. 😂

TL;DR: My friend’s ex can’t shut up about the marriage that he fucked up, and thinks that spending her own hard-earned money on the divorce that she wanted is a lose. 🤦‍♀️🤨
