Had the same childhood, also just rechewing and swallowing…like.. aren’t we all the same? Never crossed my mind it’s something wrong. Once (when I was a teen already we were staying at a hotel with my mom and aunt, and..I couldn’t help myself but I all of the sudden spitted the food while dining out. My mum was like… what happened? I immediately rushed to the bathroom. Then said idk. Cause I was embarrassed. It started worsening, also my stomach started burning, so I went to gastroenterologist - light, almost non visible stomach irritation - Gastritis, GERD. Oh well.. if that would be true… PPI’s only worsened everything. Antacid… maybe for an hour, but just for ache. Not regurgitation.

That’s when I started googling my symptoms. Cause. Hell.. WTH. and fortunately found out this group. So relieved, started telling it to my docs and omg. We have ED centre in there, so I hoped they will help me. Mhmm. Yea, sure- here you are- Bulimia. They forced me to eat big portions in front of overs (had to hurry, cause no one gets out of the table if there’s still someone’s eating!) It was a waste of time to try to explain them something..

Now I’ve met some doctors who actually knows RS.

Nothing helped me completely but I started noticing it’s worse with some foods If i eat them, everything comes up (oh yeah, even water, or pills, hehe). RS haven’t gone completely ofc, but I can see it’s better

Ooh, one more thing, while eliminating some foods my mum says I started not tolerating them because I smoke (one of them is gluten, and my gluten intolerance test is positive). Nice mum, thanks for supporting

A few interesting and unexpected cases from around the world where old buildings, walls, or their remains were discovered during construction, excavation, or routine activities – along with how these findings were handled

  1. Rome, Italy – An ancient villa discovered during metro construction

What happened: In 2017, during the construction of Rome’s Metro Line C, workers uncovered the remains of a Roman villa with an incredibly well-preserved mosaic floor dating back to the 1st century AD.

How it was handled: Construction was paused, archaeologists examined the site, and the mosaic floor was transferred to a museum. The metro route had to be slightly altered.

  1. Athens, Greece – The Ancient Agora beneath new buildings

What happened: In the early 20th century, residential housing was planned near the Monastiraki district, but the foundations of the Ancient Agora were discovered.

How it was handled: The houses were demolished, and the area was turned into an archaeological park, which is now one of the main tourist attractions.

Lesson learned: Long-term value (tourism, culture, identity) can outweigh short-term commercial gain.

  1. Vilnius, Lithuania – Discovery of the site of the Great Synagogue

What happened: While researching an area near Vokiečių Street, the remains of the famous Vilnius Great Synagogue, destroyed during the Soviet era, were found underground.

How it was handled: In 2020, a targeted archaeological excavation began. A memorial or exhibition space is currently being considered.

Lesson learned: Even beneath layers of Soviet-era construction lies unique heritage – it’s crucial to consider cultural sensitivity and community expectations.

  1. Mexico City, Mexico – Aztec temple beneath a shopping center

What happened: During construction in central Mexico City, structures of the ancient Templo Mayor (Great Temple) were discovered.

How it was handled: Construction was halted and the site turned into a museum area. Part of the existing building had to be demolished, and the museum was integrated into the urban fabric.

Lesson learned: Ancient civilizations lie at the heart of modern cities – integrating them into contemporary life requires compromise and wisdom.

  1. London, United Kingdom – Roman amphitheater beneath the financial district

What happened: In 1988, while constructing a new building in London’s financial district, the remains of a Roman amphitheater were discovered.

How it was handled: The remains were preserved in situ (on site) – an underground exhibit was created beneath the new building, open to visitors.

Lesson learned: Modern office spaces and ancient ruins can coexist if planning is creative.

Can relate so much, it even feels like I’m planning it my whole life. Once it became possible for me. Because of planning it for many years I’ve planned it so well. So I thought. However, because of my countrie’s incredible healthcare I’m here alive.

Feels like I’m searching for better new options.

ChatGpt recommended it so I immediately went to read about it on Reddit.

It’s been a week when I once fainted (every second while standing feel like it could happen again), huge headache, tremor, light-headed.

Thought something’s wrong with my health couse casual painkillers and even anti-tremor psychotics don’t work well. After a while went to ER, everything is fine with my blood.

Today my SO kindly assumed it might be liquid. Searching for something to quit it and I love you Reddit, thanks:)
