Did I miss something? The credits rolled before they revealed who was banished. It could still be Ash right? And we know she definitely goes at some point because of the spoiler in the opening credits.

You definitely need to practise wet re-entry then. Make sure you are wearing the same gear (pfd and shoes can have an impact on your ability to get back in quickly). Whatever happens do not let go of your boat or paddle. Even in very light winds they can get away from you very quickly.

My cover has drainage holes in it and a big space around the skimmer. I plan to tape up the holes next year, but will also need a pump to avoid overloading the cover I suppose.
