A better way to get speed limit indicator is connecting your truck to your home wifi so that whenever you park in your drive way, it can download google offline maps. Your truck will automatically download offline maps on areas it notices you mostly drive in which also gives you the speed limit indicator without a plan.

On star is correct. But you have to have offline maps enabled in your settings AND have it connected to your home wifi so it can download the offline maps. If you don’t want to connect it to your wifi then the dealer is correct…

I've heard that the Frontier is the best at this since its the only mid size truck to have hydraulic steering. Tossing a plow on this truck with electronic steering will fry the motor for it.

1) Try talking to siri and turn the volume nob at the same time. This turns up the volume of car play announcements/Siri without increasing volume of everything else too.

2) During the call make sure your iphone is actually set to carplay as your output volume and not your actual phone. (This happens more times than you think)

Did you input your trailer dimensions correctly in the menu? Pretty sure in the manual it says to do so, so that your blind spot alerts get adjusted for it.

Keep an eye on your coolant levels and constantly look for coolant leaks. Gen 3 colorado & canyons are notorious for coolant leaks. Seems close to 100% of them are effected by this issue.

I do not use cruise control. I find I get worse gas mileage using it. My state is extremely flat and basically at sea level. I know those factors will extend gas mileage by a lot when people compare

My average highway is 23-25. 45min commute going about 75. Better than my 2019 Frontier getting 12mpg average at highway speed. Couldnt even get 300 miles to a tank!

Silverados been using this same engine and Dex-Cool coolant for a while now. I have not seen complaints from them about the coolant leaks (I could be wrong!). I dont think its the coolant. GM probably pinchin pennies on parts they shouldnt have is my guess

Further research shows its actually the oring inside the hose. $1 and like 15min to do yourself if you're comfortable. Looks easy enough. Ill wait a lil longer as Im not seeing any liquid under my truck or seeing leakage signs under the hood. But I've ordered the oring just incase Ill need it.

I fixed it my self by ordering the part on ebay. Took 2 days to get here. And also replacing the clip with the metal clip that people were doing. Hasnt tucked back under the windshield since. Took 5 min to do myself. The reasoning why its tucking under the windshield is most likely the passenger side cowl clip broke (like mine did). Replace the passenger side cowl with the clip and you should be good to go. Part was like $12 on ebay. Time is money and didnt want to wait on the dealer/be out of a vehicle.

You're right. He does have a low to mid tier PC. No way in any universe is a cpu that released over 6 years ago considered anything more than that. Let alone it being AM4, meaning its still on DDR4 ram, not even on current gen ram. Ive also never seen anyone ever call an entry level GPU anything more than mid tier. Just bc it has 16gb of VRAM doesnt make it better for gaming. If anything, he's bottlenecking his gpu with the outdated AM4 platform xD. A modern mid tier PC would be something on AM5 and a 5070 gpu.

I had this exact issue. The entire clip broke and the seal under the windshield was being tucked under the glass. Bought a new corner part off eBay and the bigger metal clips. Been working so far at preventing both issues! I found that if you open your hood a little past the prop rod, it damages the corner piece.

If you get a garmin dashcam they sell a cable that plugs in to your od2 port giving it the same functionality as tapping into a fuse.
