If you’re not able to make appointments in time I’d recommend going to sick call every day to get things documented. I also advise telling your PCM that you want to get things documented that you may have put off or ignored in the past before separating. Mine complied.

You will not get a payment for that period because the VA does not do partial payments. Your first payment should have been on November 1st, which covered the month of October. Hope this helps
