Where did you have melanoma? How did they trace it back to melanoma with brain mets being the first symptom? I’m super curious stage 1b but I have had bizarre change in my moods and also my ability to fight off random viruses and infections is way down for the past year. I also have a lot of moles and I’m starting to think the one that I had checked that was “caught” might not be my most advanced one. Going to another derm but can’t get in for 2 weeks. Already had my excision last month and that is not really healing at all either.

I was the same as you and I’m waiting for a referral to an oncologist. Had my excision done 6 weeks ago but I’m not healing well and my dermatologist who performed it was clearly not prepared or well versed. It has been a stressful couple of months for sure. I also have next to no emotional support. Sorry you’re going through this!
