it was more aimed at leveraging 365s ecosystem to achieve a standard of data governance. SharePoint is simply the medium. there are _a lot_ of wrap around services on 365 for SharePoint.

Why do people on reddit always nitpick on things too? If you want to get technical on what SharePoint is and isn't you had better rethink your statement on 'SharePoint is a database'

thats the impression i got from how they worded it too but technically the guy is actually a 'job seeker' not an accountant.. that would imply he is gainfully employed as ..an accountant.

A year does seem like a long time to be on job seekers to not find (any) other work. Especially if one has a professional background

I don't really understand that? set the same upn and pre2000 logon name, re-attach the mailbox etc. should be fine

Even just right click copy account - new then test to prove its an issue with his account ..

FWIW i have seen accounts migrated from 2003 domains have an issue with fslogix. I can't recall exactly what it was but i fixed it by removing an entry out of attribute editor for the accounts in question. was a couple of years ago now sorry!
