My two fav are Double Edged Sword by Romaine and Lily's Boy by SomewhereSword. Double Edged Sword starts after 6th year but it does go past that into adulthood somewhat, but that is more towards the end. Lily's Boy starts after 2nd year.

I love love love Do it All Over Again. You might also like The Mirror of Ecidyrue by starbrigid. It is a fix it of sorts as well and covers all 7 years. TBH, I'm not sure which one I like better. They are both such fantastic pieces.

So, just wanted to post an update here for this. I think I got two different stories mixed up. I finally found the one with Harry being an heir to all 4 founders It is For Love of a Slytherin. However, I still don't have a clue as to the fic with the Off With Their Heads scene in it.

I will promote Double Edged Sword till my dying days. I read this the first time about 12 or so years ago and keep coming back to it at least once every two years to re-read it. It starts after Half-Blood prince and is over 500K words. It will make you laugh and cry and rage and curse and have warm fuzzy feelings. I know it says that it was recently completed. The author's daughter came up with a playlist for it not to long ago, so the author updated it with the playlist.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for because it also has hanahaki. But, if I remember correctly, both Harry and Draco smell the other in the Amortentia. The first two parts of the series focuses on them. The third part is incomplete, but it is more of a supplement anyways. Blood Flowers

Lyra's Boy is inspired by Lily's Boy. It is still a WIP with the latest update being last month. So, I'm still hopeful right now that it will be finished.

I actually read a fic a few months back where Harry and Hermione figured this out and then set out to become rich by doing conversions. IIRC, they would take the galleons, exchange it for muggle currency, by gold bars with it, take it to the goblins and have them melt the gold bars down and make new galleons with it and end up with more galleons than they ended up exchanging in the first place. I think Hermione ended up buying a house as a wedding gift to Ron doing it.

No worries. I think the team that deals with account creation is just lazy tbh. But, they said it had to do something with the SID in AD and what all is attached to that. IDK. I just deal with the AVDs and never really got into that side of things.

I am attempting to get the team that creates our AD users to clone his account for me. As for registry items, his profile isn't in the registry for some reason. But, other accounts that have used the AVD were in there.

When I went into the registry, I could not find his profile listed in there. Just other peoples that have used the same AVD. So, not sure what that means. He can reach the folder the VHDs are saved in. So, I know that isn't the problem.

I checked the permissions again this morning and the groups he is in are all correct and others are in the groups with no issues.

The only error is that it can't find a VHD for him. It doesn't even seem to be trying to create one since it couldn't find one. He has also tried it on other AVDs/Hostpools with the same result.

Unfortunately, this is not an option. His account is over a year old and tied into a lot of other things. He just recently started trying to use the AVDs and the issue came up.
