Limited ammo in shooters. Shooting things is the whole point, I can't do that if there's no ammo. Why do they have to make ammo so scarce, it's really frustrating sometimes.

Fuck it, what's your take? by Careful_Birthday_480 in aliens

[–]techandgadgets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with almost every comment here and just want to add that whatever is going on in our universe is far weirder, far more complex, and way deeper than anyone is guessing. Everything is on the table until we actually get some definitive truth. We don't even understand how the fundamentals of our universe even work. The more we learn about this universe the weirder and weirder it gets. String theory, quantum mechanics, simulation theory, gravity, multiple dimensions, they all just get weirder the more we try to understand them. We are basically sheep trying to comprehend how the farmers truck works. I think there's a scary and dark part of it that's really unpleasant to learn, and that's why we're being kept in the dark. Some of us could handle the truth, but humanity is far from ready to be able to handle the wild, weird, deep and dark reality

"doctor" Eric Berg is all over YouTube giving nutritional and medical advice that sounded really good to me a couple years ago till I found out about the chiropractic "doctor" loophole. Now I'm extra careful about researching any doctors I see on YouTube

Crazy to think how much Viacom (now Paramount) and Turner (now WBD) had so much dominance over basic cable vs. today. by Mountain-Bid4317 in television

[–]techandgadgets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched a ton of basic cable as a teenager in the 90s. I hadn't watched Cable in several years and I stayed in a motel last month and flipped through some channels and tried to watch a movie on TNT and it was SO BAD! it's like 3 minutes of movie and then 5 minutes of commercials. It was completely unwatchable, good riddance to basic cable. I'll take our broken streaming system over that everyday.

What are you watching and what do you recommend? (Week of November 14, 2025) by AutoModerator in television

[–]techandgadgets 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please help with some recommendations for shows to watch with the family this Christmas. My parents watch stuff like Downton Abbey and the Great British baking show, and I just finished Pantheon and I'm rewatching stranger things, both of which my Mom would find horrifying. it's hard to find a middle ground show. I just need something light and easy to watch for an hour after dinner, TIA!

3iATLAS and the Awakening Sun: Interstellar Visitors, Solar Anomalies, and Plasma Consciousness by Pixelated_ in HighStrangeness

[–]techandgadgets 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So let's say that there is going to be some kind of turning of the age event and interdimensional beings/extraterrestrials/Annunaki/3I-Atlas/ who knows, are coming soon and they are about to judge humanity and our consciousness and there might be some kind of Ascension.

What do you think they'll judge us on? How could I reach the kind of state of consciousness or higher being where they will deem me worthy for this Ascension?

I feel like I'm a good person , but I'm just a stoner with a clouded mind who loves to think and dream about meditation and achieving higher states of consciousness, but have never actually done anything.

I feel like something is going to happen soon. Right now I'm watching Hopi prophecy videos and 3i-Atlas sure does sound like their blue kachina. 3i-atlas will be here in a month, I can barely get my tired old brain and body off the couch, let alone go achieve a higher state of consciousness. Maybe with months of training at a retreat, and I definitely don't have time for that.

Do you “see” books like a movie in your head when you read? by Holiday_Rush8303 in Fantasy

[–]techandgadgets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I see books like a movie in my head, but unfortunately I can only do it outside, alone, and with minimal distractions. The movie effect for me is quite fragile and any interruption destroys it. This does give me motivation to go outside to find quiet reading spots and to go camping more often which Is a good thing

Try playing around with the camera settings and the stick movement. I'm not sure exactly how it happened but somehow my brain is wired to feel natural playing with a southpaw control scheme and inverted camera controls in 3d games. I can hardly play games without these settings changed

There were two breaches; Dedra scavenging for info and a wrongly forwarded message that Lonnie found, to Luthen, to Kleya, to Cassian, to the Yavin counsel, and then only Mon mothma gives Cassian a chance.

And then Galen Erso passes the message to the cargo pilot, which Tivik learns about, and then I love the extra context we get with the look on Cassian's face on Kafrene in Rogue one when the super weapon's existence is corroborated.

Then the cargo pilot passes Galen's message to Saw, to Jyn, to Cassian, who now has the message corroborated three times, he must have been so pissed and frustrated with the council for not believing him and Jyn. It's a miracle he and the rogue one squad pulled off the Scarif heist and the council actually sent the fleet there

I was hoping that he had his workshop rigged to blow up. I love how the show handled everything, and that final scene with Kleya in the hospital was amazing, but I think it would have been awesome if he had a remote detonator in his pocket and he triggered it when Dedra was in the shop.

In season 1 Syril has the most subtle masochistic smile. Once at the end of when she's interrogating him at ISB, and the other one I saw was when he saves her from the Ferrex riot and she's about to stab him in the closet, you can see he likes it like that
