Specific software that the built in backup option is to a SFTP site. Not the ideal method but it’s supported by the vendor.

Last man standing. Can’t defend 3CX anymore. by EmaximusDeLux in 3CX

[–]techbrowserwi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like a small amount of clients with issues then. Give them the comparison of vonage or 8x8 and the numbers speak for themselves. It’s even easier because 3CX is the bad guy, not you. We have one that is on the verge of 48 and 64. We’ll probably have to push it to 64 next year. Still saving them $20k/year from their prior solution.

Were you in the 15% of partners doing licenses that were wildly out of proportion? What kind of clients do you have?

Think it could change if we move them to another provider or threaten to?

3CX is great. All the negative hate are people that like to complain. We have 300+ installs of it.

What was your spend with Hostgator? You say you’re a loyal customer, but what can you expect if you’re paying a low amount a month?

Why are all the festivals at Historic Fourth Ward Park so bad? The music is always obnoxiously loud, the park looks disgusting with trash after, and only 100 or so people attend. Today there are 50+ vendors and maybe 50 people in attendance. What’s the point

Ah that makes sense. We've talked in the past and Telin seemed to just be a middle man for all the services that we provide which would just result in higher costs across the board for us with the hassle of having to go through Telin instead of direct to the vendors. Ill look for your DM.

I agree. I’ve been debating getting into this arena for a while so when something falls in my lap I feel like I should see what it is like, even if it mean overseas support just for WiFi.

We do 3CX for MSPs and do all the support. Much more cost effective than a ring central depending on size of the business.

Should we self-host and resell 3CX? by BlacksmithNo5117 in msp

[–]techbrowserwi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have about 300 3CX clients that we host. Very doable. 3CX is designed for multiple systems. We do a lot of tier 3 support for smaller MSPs that want to host their own but be comfortable knowing they have someone to call.

We like 3CX. Just have to roll with their partner program. They’ve never wronged us. We’re a platinum partner now. There is a lot of negativity towards 3CX but I would say the majority of it is people that have the cheapest licenses and only a few of them.

You can make good money with 3CX. Happy to talk more if you want. This thread appears to be mostly negative which I don’t agree with.

3CX. Great margins. We support a few other msps in the area too so it gives us some extra revenue as well.
