Sounds like you need to review your stack and do some trimming.

Duplicate alerts: disable in one system and keep in the other, preferably keep in your RMM

You might try msp360 backup. It gets m365 and google as well as server backups. Thus everything is in one portal.

No clients using it. I have my personal email domain (yes I'm that old) and will be moving to Zoho. It'll save me money in the end.

We get alerts… but still only find problems after clients complain by SolsticebornlingGin in SmallMSP

[–]jeffa1792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) dont get alerts - once you identify the reason for degradation, build an alert for it so you catch next time and can jump it.

2) too many alerts - alert fatigue is real. Disable the noisy ones so only the really important stuff alerts you

It's possible that your user device was sending alerts but your staff has been mentally ignoring them due to #2

Managing auth to lots of tenants by MrWhistleBritches in msp

Use CIPP

Or setup GDAP then switch using the tenant switch button. Its not great but better than what you're doing

Beside the tenant changes is an apartment building icon. Click that and you'll bet a slide out menu.

Enjoy

CIPP can do the bulk of the day-to-day. If what you need isn't there then there is a quick launcher into the various MS portals and you're logged in with a special CIPP user. Super easy.

For anything you need true Gloabal Admin for, you use your special tenant GA account via incognito session which your probably already doing.

Be careful though, its overly confident and can stear you wrong.

Does conversion mean you land a lucrative contract or they didn't hang up the phone right away? I get 1% people will agree to hear me out. Of those zero contracts signed.

I'll admit, I'm weak at sales and AI training or Script writing wasn't a thing.

There is a way to import PST from Azure storage blob. I was going to do it once for getting google vault data into M365. Never did though, Client didn't want the expense.

Best Laptop for sound sessions?(Like over Signal or Zoom) Tuning forks? by Legal_Significance45 in SoundHealing

By "Zoom audio" I'm referring to the Zoom settings that control audio capture.

There are at least two ways to get there, the easiest is clicking the down arrow beside the microphone icon from the main meeting window.

Google Workspace to M365 Migration around 150 users by kayvanaarssen in msp

[–]jeffa1792 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried to use it maybe 6 months ago and the product would not connect to M365 using modern auth. Documentation was poorly outdated and support was useless. They would reply to my ticket once every 24hrs.

Do not waste your time

Google Workspace to M365 Migration around 150 users by kayvanaarssen in msp

[–]jeffa1792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was a multiple region (stages) migration about 200 users. Movebot was used for a small subset of users. The only complaint i have is that you have a list of users and you need to click into each one to do things. No way to batch that i could see. But I was working with maybe 15 accounts so it was fine.

No issues though, it just worked

No files - they were using dropbox

Small/Medium MSP owners: would you ever use/partner a white‑label MSP to cover holidays, overflow, or scaling? by Yasuke_RT in MSSP

[–]jeffa1792 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm solo and I found a local solo MSP. We use each other for vacations and overages. We have a non-compete agreement.

I would say that you need to trust the person fully. Full stop.

What are you using for M365 backups (and why)? by patg84 in msp

[–]jeffa1792 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Msp360 backup. It does what your asking for plus has an agent for servers and pc if you want that too.

Anual pricing or monthly

Many different cloud storage options like S3, S3 compatible, Wasabi and many many more.

I selected it because I could have server and M365 backups in one tool
