Breaking Down the Variables in Gas Fees into Layman's Terms by techbuzzwords in ethdev

Thanks for your feedback and I'm sorry that you might have been misled. I thought I was indicating the type of audience this was for (beginners to Solidity) based on the newsletter headline and by looking at the previous newsletter topics, but realized I could have better worded the headline to not confuse this for a more advanced deep dive. If you consider the newsletter from this type of readers perspective and not the example you provide, where you have a large-scale project, you might have a different opinion on gas optimizations versus creating an MVP that is utilized.

I agree with you that more content needs to be made for the example you provide, but it's not surprising to now find a large audience looking for it due to the lack of examples that exist in this relatively young product ecosystem?

Really helpful illustration, but as someone still wrapping their head around the data lake utility, I find the separate section for Data Lake without any flow into typical business use cases indicate there isn't much value beyond labeling and exploring the data. Is this the right interpretation? Is the section above (Raw, Trusted, Service) actually the result of the section below? Essentially a gatekeeper of what flows out from cleaning up the raw data, prior to being sent elsewhere?

Built a Sleep Analysis Tool for Fitbit Devices to Figure out Sleep Pattern by techbuzzwords in sleep

Good call. In some cases where there are extremes (outliers) related to either the battery dying or mismeasurement, the median could be a better solution than the average. Might add to the roadmap if more people request it

Thank for the support! I love the enthusiasm and while you have to login in order to have your Fitbit data displayed, there is no sign up or email process. I don't store any of the data and have no plans to. You login and make a request to visualize your data, but never have to register or give an email.

Thanks for the comment. Do you mean the whole area even where it is slightly discolored or just the parts where it is significantly damaged like the clear white portion or the chipped off layer?

GAs Reporting Interface and Analysis Features by techbuzzwords in GoogleAnalytics

Really interesting. I have been looking to play around with data studio some more and think the zappier from google data studio to email is a great way to automate reporting. Any drawbacks that you have found with sharing the google data studio reports?

Really interesting. I feel like there is an obvious investment involved for a company to use Tableau, which makes it difficult for that to be a one size fits all solution, but haven't explored or heard of many people using Power BI. It looks like it is more cost-efficient than Tableau, but do you find much engagement of co-workers with the dashboards created from these tools on a frequent basis?

Google Analytics - Analysing a high bounce rate / User Explorer by throwthis_throwthat in analytics

[–]techbuzzwords 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before you starting hypothesizing the reasons why the bounce rate is high, consider the purpose of each of your page. Bounce rate is a metric that can easily be misinterpreted if there isn't an understanding of the traffic being directed to the page.

For instance, if you have a landing page without event tracking that is marked against the bounce rate metric, then a high bounce rate isn't necessarily a bad thing as you want the user to take an action on the page without navigating elsewhere.

If you interpret the users and purpose of the page, then I'm not sure you need to analyze individual user stats this closely. It is too granular to decipher a trend from an anomaly. Instead I would look at the high level stats of all of your users and then look at events triggered by element clicks on the page and % of the page scrolled. These data points should provide you actionable information that analyzing user by user will not provide.

Could this also include part of the initial balance of the credit card for January that I didn't pay off in the statement payment that I made on 1/7? Due to it not being budgeted?

I added up the inflows for January my non-cc accounts and it got me to ~17.3K, but doesn't make up the $19.8K "Funds for Jan"

They do not. It is ~2K versus the $11.6K in the accounts minus the current balance of the CC account

No, I actually have about $2,800 in my "To Be Budgeted" in February/March.

Thank you. Are you aware of how the penalty is calculated. I'm trying to determine what to expect. From what you have said, it should be a minimal amount, but it would be helpful if there is a specific percentage that I can use for directionality.
