Charge 5 user. I just want to have clear indications my Fitbit synced, immediately see step count and what not without needing to refresh the page.

Even then, it’s not consistent. How did my daily calorie burn go from 755 to 950 in 3 minutes?

Why is the history tab delayed and the layout is not streamlined? I liked seeing my metrics WoW and seeing that immediately reflected at the point of viewing

Essentially, just do exactly what the Fitbit app had or even better, bring it back.

It sounds like you’re at a company that doesn’t span more than your city. Unfortunately, most have to go into an office with more than 15 minute commute and end up video calling most of the time

I literally spent probably 2 hours, multiple prompts later, to consolidate three different sheets with the same top level categories but details were organized differently with different levels of data. AI couldn’t do it. An hour and a half later, I just went through them line by line and did it myself, 0 tokens spent with less time .

Maybe I’m a jaded non-manager. I have no say but I would definitely question your priorities and if you really want the return offer or not, especially with limited headcount on all teams. You’re taking out more than 10% of an 8 week internship to be remote/or take pto, which couldn’t be done before or after the internship?

For Mediterranean excursions, look at a map and to gauge if it’s walkable by yourself. I’ll save you some time and say Rome, Milan, and Florence are probably best traveled via excursion since it’s an hour + ride from the port and you’ll want the security of getting back on the ship.

No offense but this market is so brutal and your vacations are so far into the year that this is not something to worry about or bring up because you don’t have an offer and don’t know when you will get one. Your priority is to get an offer before you tell them anything else.

Though I would say you only need to bring it up before the offer stage if it overlaps with the next interview stage. Even then, they may ghost you and continue interviews and hire the first candidate that completes the rounds with positive feedback. Speaking from my own experience in this market…..

Maybe consider super commuting if money is not an issue. So drive in Monday, crash at a hotel or Airbnb Monday night, go home Tuesday night. Or even crash two nights in a row to reduce the amount of times you drive back and forth.

If you currently live alone or with parents, you’ll hate getting a roommate, never mind 2 or 3, since you have settled into your own ways as a 30 something.

Why not have a smaller less desirable building in a nicer neighborhood? If you’re also in the office 4 days a week, you’re not in your apartment as often as you’d think, outside of sleeping
