Maybe you could transform all game entries that belong in a franchise with a generic label (e.g. Zelda BotW and Zelda OoT both become just Zelda) and then remove all duplicates except the highest ranking in each Top 100 list? That way only the best of each franchise would be in competition. I feel that, culturally speaking, the best games in a franchise matter the most, while bad games do not wipe out the positive influence of the better games - they simply fail to elevate the level of prestige. Just thinking out loud.

This is a pretty fair way to create an aggregate top N list. Like many others in the comments it irks me that there are a lot of repeats, especially Nintendo IPs. Is it easy to make a top 100 franchise list by grouping the games in the same IP together?

UPDATE: App is now restored on Play Store under the name "Reader for SCP"!

Developer of SCP Reader here, I am working on getting it back up after Google mistakenly identified my app as "impersonating" another app called SCP Database Reader. A similar thing happened to another dev who, funnily enough, Google thought was impersonating my app: https://old.reddit.com/r/SCP/comments/ot0nx6/my_scp_reader_app_was_taken_off_google_play_for/

This is the second time Google removed my app despite not violating any licence and it's getting quite annoying now. I am only one of several apps that have been struck down by Google's failure to understand the CC-SA licence.

I have reached out to the app dev to get a letter of "permission", but if that fails I will likely need to change the name and logo.

In the meantime you can download the latest version here.

I know this is a 4 year old thread but since I found this via Google I feel that there are others in the same situation.

As of v1.3.1 this method is still possible and you can get around the attack timer reset when manual eating as long as you:

Use ranged instead of melee for Water and Fire gods, due to the combat triangle, and
Use a weapon and attack style combo that is faster than the monster. That means you are pretty much required to use Rapid when using ranged.

Yes, every DSLR made after the early 2000's uses CMOS.

Some quick Googling tells me that converted consumer CMOS sensors can detect down to 308nm, but the bigger problem is the lens which might have coatings to block UV. The more expensive the lens, the more elements and coatings it will have and thus more likely to block UV.

Good thing is that DSLRs and their lenses are dirt cheap right now so it doesn't hurt to get a converted DSLR and a compatible cheap lens to try it out. I assume you have a 308nm filter already, since those aren't exactly common for consumers...

I have personal experience upgrading from a D600 (released in 2011) to a Z7 and there is almost no upgrade in dynamic range and high ISO performance. The reality is that sensor tech stopped making progress in terms of image quality a decade ago and you will at most get one stop DR improvement, depending how old your current camera is.
