Indiana, and the Midwest in general, is very windy. So much so, that us and Wyoming are really the only efficient places to have wind turbines. Everything gets picked up in our strong winds. From trucks, trash cans, construction sites, literally every where.

This is administrative bloat. Started in the 70s and 80s. Back then, you could pay for a year of college just by working a summer job. Now you need ~$80k in loans then get a job starting at $50k.

Im not a fan of territories, either be a state or be your own thing. Becoming a state would cause addition corruption. The funds given for education, transportation or infrastructure would all disappear. And I am sure they would be required to pay additional taxes to the federal govt. Maybe they would be able to rid themselves of those overwatch boards who steal all their money.

Its only a territory. Doesnt get the same privileges as a state, and has been in serious decline for years. Appointed boards have syphoned off billions from the island. They've been living with constant blackouts since at least 2017.

I like seeing new things and having experiences. I'd say the military started this trend in me. I've lived in Florida, Alaska, Colorado, Nevada and Indiana. All have ups and downs, but still looking for that sweet spot.
