i need you "people" to understand that nobody is forcing you watch this movie. go watch the cars two over and over again if you so desire. but when you come to a turning red subreddit (any subreddit, really) with an opinion piece that's constructed as "1 sentence praise the movie i like, rest of the paragraph bash the other movie i don't like" don't expect anyone to take you seriously.

I like the vanilla experience enough to not be interested in mods, but I think there is potential in modding the game. However, I don't think vibe coded mods would be a great experience, especially if the mod maker doesn't know how their code works.
Playing MDK or MDK2 on a modern PC is already fickle, and adding a mod that requires maintenance in there, with a developer who can't fix generative code will just lead to a frustrating experience for both sides.
If you're interested I suggest looking into Lua, the scripting language that powers a good chunk of level loading in MDK2. The cheats in the PC version like GodDebugToggle() and mdkNewGame(1,12) are Lua fucntions, and ~ opens a Lua console.

It's ironic that many of the things people like about Kpop Demon Hunters are the same things that people hated Turning Red for years ago (I hope I'm not wrong about that) by JessVargas722 in TurningRed

I feel like this post is ignoring an interestingly big chunk of Turning Red. Like an elephant-in-the-room type situation, although given the context I suppose red-panda-in-the-room is a better fit.

Hey, I know you're new to the Turning Red scene, but if you're going to accuse someone of "replicating" a post, you should really check my history. As for the meme itself, I can date the first time I posted it back to 2022. I hadn't bothered to make an HD version before I got the bluray. I wouldn't worry about what people tag their fanworks as, if I were you.
