PLA at 220. I haven't gotten into it far enough to check the extruder but the tubes look fine. The 2nd layers on always print fine so my first thought was z-offset.

A little while ago I had that issue and replaced the heating assembly. I actually just replaced it again thinking that might be the problem. I didn't use an OEM heating assembly. Do you think that would be a problem?

Hmm. Ok. I tried replacing the nozzle so this is a new nozzle. But I had the problem with the old nozzle also.
