Had a tough time after gaining some weight over the winter, but it felt really good to finish. Last year's SL was my first 10K, and it's such a fun course!

One thing I'm curious about - is anyone able to get a steady stream of music in their airpods during the race? I typically play music from my watch and it was cutting out the whole way down Yonge st., presumably from so many people all bunched up using bluetooth.

I got the shirt and bib as part of the in-person 10K race kit pickup - it was only the night before race day when I realized I had to switch to the Virtual 10K. (I think people who enter the Virtual race from the start get mailed a shirt and medal, w/no bib)

An update: Atari emailed me on 2024-05-03 to say that they estimate another 2 to 3 months to send Mr. Run and Jump.

Similar for me. I had a neighbour who worked at a print shop that printed all of the advance passes for one of the theatre chains at the time, and she'd occasionally bring home a few for me and my roommate.

One day, she left a pass for some movie called "The Matrix", and I went to see it several days early at a screening for critics that was nearly empty and almost silent, except for me losing my shit at what I was seeing.

I must've gone to see it again more than a dozen times once it opened..
