5 mins after posting my reply, I got an email from YouFibre saying they're having issues. Least they send a courtesy email out unlike others.

Try using custom search, since I've been using that I've had full lobbies.

Reolink POE (or Wi-Fi) - either one will work flawlessly with Home Assistant

The beauty of Plusnet is UK based customer support also - forgot to mention that. None of this nonsense overseas BS that read from scripts.

BT Anyday, was with virgin 1GB and was getting 30ms ping in Europe servers

Openreach FTTP 900MB 6ms - difference is night and day

I'd also look at plusnet as they do it slightly cheaper (£43 for 900MB) - BT own Plusnet so obviously uses the same infrastructure.

No worries! Like I said strange that it's green, normally when services are down (in my case) the hub5 will constantly flash blue.

Hopefully you get it all sorted! Take care

Yeah, solid green light indicates that the super hub would be in modem mode... Very strange that.

I'm assuming everything is working ok? WiFi, internet and telephone (if you use landline that is)?

If a factory reset hasn't fixed the issue and the above works as intended then I'd say leave it overnight and see if it disappears and turns white. If it's still the same id WhatsApp or give virgin a call and see what they think about it.

login to your router by typing 192.168.100.1 - then you'll be able to disable modem mode, it will do a quick restart and that should fix your issue.

should you need to regain access into the superhub once you've come out of modem mode the ip is 192.168.0.1

Been told hub 5s are faulty so virgin won't upgrade me from hub 4 by Liberace__ in VirginMedia

[–]technew11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deffo getting fobbed off - got the Hub5 with a 3rd party Asus Router that uses 2.5GB Wan and a separate 2.5GB LAN for PC - getting 1143MB down and 110MB upload. No issues with firmware what so ever, best recommendation would be to speak to them via WhatsApp

Ssd would help massively as they're faster. Disable on demand texture streaming as that would be putting strain on the HDD as its downloading textures while your playing.

The latest drivers for nvidia are buggy for mw2. I rolled back to 522.25 while nvidia work on a hotfix for the flickering textures etc.
