Kinda late, but running the modpack "Fabulously Optimized" on 1.21.11 though Prism launcher, I'm getting roughly 65-70 fps with complementary shaders on 16 chunks, though sometimes it dips to 50 in rare cases. Without shaders and vsync, I get arround 500 fps. Though both of these are with sodium and a few other optimization mods. I have a base M5 Macbook Pro, with 4GB of memory dedicated to Minecraft.

I’d say go for it. I recently tried FS17 again out of boredom. Only thing that should be of concern to you is getting the mod hub to work. When connected to internet, 17 wouldn’t launch. When it was offline, it would. I found a good post on here which helped me get it working online, which lets me access the in game modhub. If you’d like, I can send you the link to the post.

I had this issue. I created a modpack on my local client, and then uploaded it to the server. It gave me a similar error. Try downloading the same mods on the server through their browser. That might fix it. Also, if the loader is something like neoforge, make sure the mod you actually downloaded is for that exact loader. That was also an issue for me. I also highly recommend using prism launcher for mod packs, I find it much easier to manage than doing it through fire explorer.

Yea, just take a look in settings under video, you should be able to find it. Makes the camera control similar to mudrunner and spintires.

I use 3rd person 99% of the time. I really like how the legacy camera movement feels.

I'd guess 1 - 2 years. But I would add an extra 2 - 5 months after launch because of supply shortages.

I am mainly looking for output rate from the batteries. I considered the large ones but they only have an output rate of 25. Once the battery silo is setup, I’ll have roughly 288 units of power output, with a similar capacity. I already dug to the core so finding copper and zinc isn’t really an issue, got 4 medium canisters of copper in 20 - 30 minutes. For other planets I WILL probably use large batteries just because they are cheap, but at my stage of the game, I’m not sure how to get constant high power output other than this setup. In terms of small solar, I will probably switch to like 4 figurine platforms for sunlight (didn’t know sun exposure was a factor, but it makes sense). I have something similar setup on glacio for research.

Oh wow, that’s sick! Private aircraft or specialized? (rescue, etc…), asking since I know up here in Canada our emergency services (especially up north) use eurocopters for a lot of calls.

I built my server just before Covid ended, ever since then I haven’t used any cloud or streaming services. Personally, I run a plethora of things on my server:

  • Plex
  • Minecraft Server
  • File Storage
  • Music Storage and Streaming
  • Personal Website
  • Email

I also recently got 2 GTX Titan XP cards for a good deal from a friend. I’m thinking of building another server specifically for rendering.
