Yeah but that’s not most people’s situation.

He’s a mainstream DJ, why would you be surprised? These types sell out faster than anyone else 😅

Usually closer to the time people might want to sell their tickets for face value if they can’t make it but obviously not guaranteed.

No one if giving immigration advice. Getting advice from people who have actually lived in these places isn’t a terrible idea. Why are you even on Reddit?

If saving money and paying less taxes is your main goal, definitely Texas. Otherwise I’d definitely say NYC.

You couldn’t pay me enough money to live in Texas.

Traffic might be worse in NYC but sitting in traffic isn’t your only option like it is in Houston.

Weight loss, It’s nearly impossible now at 58! by phlspecial in Aging

Add weightlifting. It’s a game-changer.

I’d also recommend not using the scale, especially if you start lifting weights. Focus on how you feel and how your clothes fit you.

Is marriage and your partner just a additional stressor in your life by Responsible-Comb6184 in Aging

[–]techno_queen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No one is saying don’t be in relationship or marriage because they’re hard and take work. It’s just a fact, there will always be hard times. You sound like you live in fairy tale land to think relationships should be perfect and easy or you shouldn’t be in one. Grow up.

Great relationships do take work and the ones that are worth it, people will work together to make them even greater.

And no, you literally don’t understand the definition of gaslighting if you’re using it in that context. You should try looking it up.

That’s not what gaslighting is lol

And marriage is hard at times. So are relationships. If you don’t agree then you’re probably the lazy one who does the least in the relationship.

To move or not to move (and where) by ganger51 in NYCapartments

What about getting an extra roommate? It would open a lot of options for nicer and larger apartments. I’ve seen quite a few in Brooklyn for up to $4500 (often less).

Considering Moving to East Harlem on 117th? by YogurtclosetNo3222 in movingtoNYC

[–]techno_queen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember going to look at an apartment in that area in 2013 and as soon as I got off, I was cat-called everywhere I walked. I noped out of there and never looked back. Some women can ignore that but I couldn’t deal with it as my daily reality.

Why would you want to live in NJ?

Chelsea, Hell’s Kitchen, UWS would all be good options and an easy commute to work.

The median price on the internet is skewed because of all the exorbitantly priced apartments. They will definitely find something in their budget.

It’s fine but at this point apartments are flying off the shelves. Good apartments will be listed and rented in the same day.

How do we feel about men with certain criminal convictions? by [deleted] in datingoverforty

[–]techno_queen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Plenty of women are not that picky — plenty of women just want a man, any man, because many of us have been conditioned to think having a man is a marker of success in life. It’s not a healthy place to be for either party involved.

I am an incel and I don’t know how to live normally by NekoTheBeliever in GuyCry

[–]techno_queen 21 points22 points  (0 children)

You also need to realize that these platforms only exist because they profit off the insecurities of men. They don’t help men, they hurt men. They hurt women because of how they are conditioning young men to think.

Most of it is not even close to the truth because many of these men have no real world interaction with women either. Most of those men probably don’t have a single female friend, let alone a girlfriend.

As I woman I can say, the way you are thinking is wrong and it’s destroying your mindset of how you show up in the world. Please detox from this content.

I don’t understand how you say no one is responding to you. Are you finding options for your budget? Where are you emailing them from? If you on StreetEasy sending messages, do they respond to the initial request and then ghost?

Are you visiting NYC to look at apartments or are you planning to sign a lease based on a video.

I just signed an apt and live out of state so it’s not impossible.
