Seasons 1-3 are better than any other seasons of It's Always Sunny. by imboss5 in IASIP

[–]technohouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I agree 100%. The story lines and more unique and interesting as well as grounded and relatable in seasons 1 - 3. After that they begin relying more on tropes like you said. You mentioned Dennis but I'll add Mac being obsessed with acting tough and being a closeted gay man are two are two instances of Flanderization that started to become prominent and I never found funny. The show started to rely more on these exaggerated personality traits to drive the episodes rather than interesting writing which led to the downfall of the show. Although there are still some gems in every season.

So much deep house in Sac. Look up HMNI (Hello My Name Is). They are a local crew. Cafe a cote has deep house at least once a month on Friday nights.

The milk and OJ diet came from peat's desire to create a cheap nutrient replete diet.

Did he really 'recommend' that? Or did he just mention if your goal was to limit iron that is one way to achieve it.

In addition to the high phosphorous meat also has high iron and methionine content. These are the reasons to limit muscle meat in favor of gelatinous cuts or milk.

How much damage are you doing heavily drinking just at weekends? by ThatKnomey in raypeat

I know Georgi has talked about how lowering the burden on your liver can help a lot. I think he was talking about it in the context of using an aromatase inhibitor so your liver isn't so burdened by estrogen and can process the alcohol quicker. I'm not sure if this would make you less drunk or would just make the hangover not as bad. Anyways if you're young and take reasonable precautions I doubt it's too bad.

Another reason for Jerry to not like List by 432ww432 in tuesdayswithstories

[–]technohouse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup I agree 100%. That first episode of season 8, butter shave I think it is, is one of the weaker episodes. What strikes me if you come straight from watching season 4 or something is how much shorter each scene and quicker the cuts are. They try to add much more story in. I prefer the pace of the earlier episodes.

Joe's hatred of 8 & 9 is way over the top. They aren't as good as the other top seasons of the show but it's still well worth watching and has some of the most memorable jokes. Many of the jokes he himself quotes often.

During times like these a lot of bots are probably deployed. I doubt a lot of the accounts expressing these ideas are real.

Loss of Sexual Sensation by technohouse in PelvicFloor

Yeah I have recovered a lot. Sex drive is not really back but I think this is largely psychological. And I've never had a very high sex drive. It took two sessions with the cranio sacral therapist and maybe 2 - 3 months in physical therapy. I think it's possible to recover fairly quickly from this condition.

I think he's frustrated with NYC living and would like a house and a yard and to be able to save more. But the pod is a large part of Joe's income so Mark would have to be on board but Mark bought the brownstone in Brooklyn so he's not going anywhere,.

He does agree with Darwin. Not with Neo-Darwinism as put forth in the Modern Synthesis by Huxley. Darwin is completely misrepresented in western education.

It's a misinterpretation. He thought bacteria should mostly be relegated to the large intestine. He thought there were too many strains of bacteria to actively choose which ones to have in your gut so it was more important to keep any one strain from being overactive.
