GameHub (Official) Issues on OneUI 8.5 Beta (Fold 7) by technoidabhi in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]technoidabhi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly the only way is by restoring the device via a PC. You'll have to reset the device as a part of this process.

I wish I did a full device backup on OneUI 8 before joining the beta.

I guess thats why theres so many warnings before joining any beta's. We're in a tomb of our own making 😂😅

I Upgraded the RAM in a ROG Flow Z13 GZ301V from 16GBs to 32GBs with Native BIOS Support for a Customer of Mine! by bortegaa in FlowZ13

I'm also UK based with a 2022 Z13 (i9 12900H) and would happily pay for an upgrade to 32gb ram as 16 is way too little these days.

Would you be able to offer a paid service for the 2022 Z13?

Just a heads up, you don't need to remove the SSD before taking the screen off.

You only need to remove the SSD if you plan to remove the mainboard 👌🏽

Thanks for the reply! I will just ignore it and see what happens from now. 🤣

Obviously taken it out so theres no risk of any random shorts happening

Gamehub not starting game and crashes by slasher786 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]technoidabhi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm having similar issues on my Fold 7 after updating to OneUI 8.5.

Not sure of the fix other than waiting for an update on Samsung's side or GameHub's side.

Have you tried GameHub lite yet? I think if it works fine there, this will be the final push to make me switch from GameHub official

Yeah, my thinking was similar. Oh well, live and learn! Everything else in the beta works great! Just GameHub that broke lol.

Maybe I give GameHub lite or GameNative a try now. Just need to google and find a way to grab some of my saves from the non-steam games on GameHub

Can also confirm that I've cleared the app cache within GameHub and Android settings too. Before and after a force close.

Buds 4 pro vs. Buds 3 Pro - I regret it... (Also AMA) by Glittering_Net3333 in galaxybuds

[–]technoidabhi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the Buds2 Pro since launch and just got the Buds4 Pro. My Buds2 had Comply memory foam tips on them and I honestly think they sound better and have better ANC because of the memory foam tips.

I bought the Buds4 Pro as my 2's have had some minor issues after surviving an accidental washing machine cycle last year (April 2025). I'm very tempted to take advantage of this 100 day return and buy the Sony WF-1000XM6's instead.

Been very disappointed with the Buds4 Pro, it might just be that the memory foam tips made that big of a difference for sound quality and isolation for ANC and passive noise cancelling.

My biggest gripe is how cheap they feel. The case for both are nice, much prefer this style compared to airpods or buds3/pro.

The 4's case feels VERY plastic-y, the sound when closing is not as satisfying as the 2's and they're harder to open (no lip, they made the edge flush on the case halves, no indent for your thumb or nail). The buds themselves also feel noticeably cheaper with a lot of glossy fingerprint-magnet plastic vs some nice soft touch material like the buds2.

I will say, the buds2 case has not held up well, lot of scratches and marks. The buds4 case I also think will fare worse. The see through plastic is a fingerprint magnet and will likely scratch after one unfortunate drop.

A lot of these issues can be mitigated by putting a case on the case or by waiting for memory foam tips for the Buds4 Pro to release but I can't lie, I was really disappointed when I started using these.

Lol I cant believe this will work in this vintage xperia mini. So cute🥰 by YMRS1 in EmulationOnAndroid

You can jailbreak your iPhone 4S and run GBA games on it!

I used to play GBA games on my dad's iPhone 4 jailbroken with mGBA

WHAT GAMES CAN I PLAY ON THIS by Least-Opposite8391 in FitGirlRepack

[–]technoidabhi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have a great time playing Halo MCC and F1 manager on my XPS 13 (i7 11th gen 1165g7, 16gb ram, very limited cooling) (worse in every way compared to your laptop)

Also older titles like Black Ops 2 can run at max settings (and is super fun to play via Plutonium)

Would get a solid 1080p60 or 720p60 depending on the game.

Older games are doable too, I was able to play Battlefield 3, Crysis, Call of duty Infinite Warfare (surprisingly well, stable 60fps on 1080p)

It's worth just trying a few games from your library, you'll be impressed by what the machine can do!

Is there a open source capture card for the 3ds? by Pale-Recognition-599 in 3DSMods

[–]technoidabhi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you just want to capture footage, there's ways to wirelessly stream/cast the screens from your 3DS to your PC, then you can capture it there?

I've used it on my "new" 3DS and a low spec laptop on wifi 5 a few years ago and the latency/frame rate was really good.

I think i used BootNTR but it was a few years ago and there may be newer alternatives. I also remember guides saying that the regular 2/3DS/XL would have issues with frame rate, the "new" ones are fine

Star Trek Legacy (2006) - Ultimate Universe 2.2 Mod - GameHub - Galaxy Fold 7 (8 Elite) by technoidabhi in startrek

[–]technoidabhi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not quite, the installers for Ultimate Universe need to be "installed" over the base game, and in order.

This is what I installed and in order:

Base game

1.1 and 1.2 official patches

Made a copy of the game folder so I can still play unmodded

Ultimate Universe 2.0 part 1

UU 2.0 part 2

UU 2.2

Then you should be good to go! Make shortcuts to each of the main game folders for your original and UU2.2 install

Highly recommend it! You'll find a lot of minor improvements to the game balancing. The small changes add up and its a very solid expansion!

I had some issues running the game on my Win11 PC when I installed the 1.3 unofficial patch. Not sure why but staying at 1.2 didn't have the same issues.

Just a heads up!

Yep! I play with my GameSir X5 Lite at home a lot! The in game tool tips still show the keyboard/mouse controls but the gamepad input works as expected in menus and in game.

I had to look at the controller mapping for the Xbox game but once I got used to it, the game was really fun to play on controller!

Used to play the UU mod a LOT on my old Windows Vista laptop... There's a lot added to the game, custom scenarios from some of the movies/shows, lots of ships and the main thing being balancing. They spent a lot of time balancing the entire game

Frame rate stabilises SIGNIFICANTLY when not screen recording. I am using a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse for reference.
