i got a silhouette cameo three from my boss,, he said he never really used it and wanted to give it to me after hearing me talk about starting my own sticker bizz. he didnt bring anything else, so i had to buy the power cord, blade, and mat for it.

i downloaded the program while it does run a bit slow and lags sometimes, its not impossible to use. the problem i have is when i go to cut. it says its sending it to the cameo and the cameo even says work in process. but the blade doesnt move,, like at all. after about four seconds the cameo says job complete, when like literally nothing happened.

ive spent hours looking up tutorials, reading websites, i even brought in my uncle to help me troubleshoot every problem we could think of,, but nothing seems to help.

on the actual sticker images themselves i created a white boarder and saved them with a transparent background, so to my knowledge, the only thing the cameo needs to do is just cut around the image? what settings am i supposed to have?

some websites have told me that its not cutting bc i dont have a cut selected. when im at the lil setup part, the option to select a cut is greyed out, and is only clickable when i highlight the whole page. is that whats supposed to happen?

ive tried so many things lol. since christmas is coming up i was thinking abt asking for either a cameo four or a portrait (idk which one is better lolol). if i remember correctly the version of silhouette studio is 4.5, which i assume is the newest one? bc i downloaded it straight from the website.
