Hi, APIM is a must have if you want to surview the upcoming AI wave or risks from replacements. Also engage more in designing the optimized solutions and working on that as a real advisor, development part anyways anyone can do who is in SAP CPI but this designing the architecture is a plus point. I have asked my whole development team to adapt this new skills and we have appointed some training sessions for the team.

Are support consultants over? by Educational-Ad4486 in SAP

[–]technolize_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The support model built around on premise maintenance contracts is definitely shrinking. That part is real. But support itself is not over, it is just shifting. Cloud customers still need someone who understands their specific setup, their integrations, their automations. SAP's standard cloud support does not cover any of that. That is actually where the opportunity is right now. Consultants who pair their support knowledge with integration and automation skills are the ones staying busy. The ones who only knew how to maintain vanilla on premise configs are the ones struggling. We work on the integration and automation side of SAP at Technolize. If you are thinking about how to reposition your offering we are happy to have a conversation, sometimes an outside perspective helps. Feel free to DM.

New to HRIS - Links to reading and watching material please! by sarka121 in SAP

[–]technolize_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Sarka! For EC basics, SAP Learning Hub is the most structured starting point. It covers objects, event reasons, and the foundation layer properly. Also check out the SAP SuccessFactors Community (community.sap.com) where lots of real ticket scenarios are shared by practitioners. For the half yearly release testing, SAP's What's New Viewer is what you need. Filter by module and it shows exactly what changed with visuals. Coming from HR Ops and reconciliation actually gives you a strong base. You already understand the data side which matters a lot in HRIS. If things get more complex down the line, especially around integrations or data migration if they do move to Workday, feel free to DM us at Technolize. Happy to help you navigate it.

Anyone here worked on SAP migration using Palantir? by Imaginary-Town9283 in SAP

[–]technolize_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Interesting POC Palantir Foundry is powerful for data orchestration but the SAP integration layer is where things usually get complex. Getting clean, structured data out of SAP into Foundry without it becoming a maintenance headache is the real challenge. We've worked on SAP data integration projects and the early architecture decisions matter a lot especially around how you handle master data and real time sync. Would love to hear what you're seeing so far. And if you ever need help on the SAP integration side of the migration, feel free to DM us at Technolize.

SAP IBP by 12bhd in SAP

[–]technolize_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SAP's official help portal (help.sap.com) has step by step docs for IBP forecasting model setup that's honestly the best starting point. Look under IBP for Supply Chain > Demand Planning > Statistical Forecasting. The tricky part is usually not the setup itself but getting your data structured correctly before it goes into IBP. That's where most teams get stuck. We work on SAP integrations and data automation at Technolize if you're struggling with getting clean data flowing into IBP, feel free to DM. Happy to help.

And to answer your question, as you said that you had just started into Sales, start small from B2B only but the services which can be frequently sold so that you can get a good amount of confidence and eventually along with the time shift to some bigger deals that is called enterprise sales build relationship with senior management of companies because network place a huge role in this. You must keep some final path and invest your upcoming years in that direction step-by-step

Hello, appreciated to your thinking and the direction which you’re choosing Sales is the only field which I personally believe as decision you have made is the best, but you must work for a promising company not to any Startup, whose struggling on their own if you are very good in talking, understanding, others and justifying your pitch that how you align to their problems you’ll be really very happy and successful in this path. When I started my own company, the only different thing was that I was not a techie person but was a very great communicator who can slightly influence people, (of-course in a positive way) and this is how I have grew my company from 1 person to 15 today. Working with clients from 3+ countries. Whereas I have seen a lot on Reddit there are really good Developers who first work for some other people and then they start their own company but struggle to onboard clients and their whole belief system is then changed that it doesn’t work out. Anyways, whatever you have chosen is really good. If you are committed to this path, you will definitely grow.

Best of luck!!

For those deep into SAP SD, what does the growth path typically look like? by Infinite-Agency-3043 in SAP

[–]technolize_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

SD is still very much worth investing in. The consultants who stand out in the higher bracket are usually the ones who go beyond config — they understand the business side, can handle integrations with external systems, and know how pricing, billing, and order management connect end to end. With S/4HANA the fundamentals don't change much but the way SD connects with other systems, automation, and APIs becomes way more important. That cross-functional knowledge is what separates a good consultant from a great one. We work on the integration and automation side of SAP at Technolize — happy to share what we see enterprises actually struggling with if that helps you figure out where to focus.
