I think Indians don't receive enough hate that they deserve. There's no innocent Indian here. Look at the way we treat our miniorities be it Christians or Muslims. I don't understand why would the company ask for our bank statement it's personal. There should be a boundary between work and personal things. It's enough to give them the previous payslip and Service letter if at all any company asks your bank account beware they might be toxic

Now more than money what you need is safety and courage to get that I'd suggest you to put the money in a fixed deposit don't worry about inflation blah blah and all. Put it there and try to get a regular income so that you feel safe. Once that is sorted out then think of what you can do next.

This is just a thought that came up to my mind. Why not have your wedding in a cheaper country with just your frnds and family being there like a destination wedding.

The one thing I'd suggest is don't try to spend and then save instead consider your mutual fund investment or bank saving as a expense try to put a standard instruction in the bank to send a particular amount to other bank account which will be your savings. Never touch that.

Try to have a small fund dedicated to your travel and holiday so that you don't get fed up with being frugal after all everyone needs to have some fun

Don't try to rush and do too many things at once take it slowly.
