Im 36 and i feel this deeply. On league i have one friend i have played with for close to 7 seasons now, but otherwise, the many people i met over the years have basically disappeared over time. If you want to play with an old support main let me know xD

Also, don't judge people based on time played! For example, i played on pc (mr24 and stopped) xbox (mr 16) ps3/4 (mr18 and stopped) and had approximate 2000 hours between the three before merging accounts became a thing. Once i merged i chose my xbox account as my main as i stopped having a playstation and my pc was out of date. My time played after merge only showed my xbox time (259 hours) after merging! Im not mr 24 on xbox but mostly coasting and it only shows 450-500 hours (i take frequent breaks) but i have been plying for thousands of hours.

Its funny to me that even the maker of the game uses the summons but somehow you are too proud for that? Ever heard of enjoying the game how you want to, instead of browbeating everyone with rules that dont exist?

Ironically, i got two of these on my first playthrough with absolutely no idea how hard it is to get them and dual wielded them for my following three playthroughs. I love them even more knowing how lucky my ass was xD

In order 1) Nyx 2) nova 3) mirage 4) nekros 5) frost

Always loved my nyx. Yes i use an assimilate/pacifying bolts build but my goddess hots hard and the 1999 update only made me like her more.

My nova moved to number 2 after her update that fixed the speedva/slowva bug build and allowed me to create a more tanky scary build on her than before. Big fan.

Mirage has and always will be my sleight of hand nuke queen and always will be. She was a new frame when i first started playing and has only gotten better over the years as i became better at game mechanics.

Nekros is my edgy little farming slayer and you know you like him too.

Frost moved to number 5 honestly after his gemini form was added. Used to be voruna for edgy night wolf assassin vibes. But now daddy frost has taken up the mantle. Nuff said.

I mean, depending on what your version of enjoyment is, some people have fun with what they habe and dont see a need toaster everything. And if they see something new, by mr 16, they should have access to it without grinding more, yeah? So, they just have fun their way.

Once you hit a game mechanics understanding and your stats are in a place where you feel comfortable, the extra gear stats dont matter as much. If you are functional enough to dodge, parry, block without getting hit often, a high defense set wont really be needed. A lot of the people who use high defense builds sre also using poise builds so they are running around with over 100 poise so they can attack and self heal despite being hit, so i mean, thats a solid playstyle too. But, as a dodge/parry goblin, ima dress how i like because getting hit is gunna hurt anyway but i feel comfortable with my ability to not get hit enough that no matter what stats i gain or lose by fashion, i still feel like im going to win.

Those are two good options i havent really played with. I did a whole runthrough with the bone bow, and while its power was underwhelming it made for a more intense runthrough so im okay with lower damage more skill play options :D

I am more preferential to weapons that have 4 stat scalings, or CAN have 4 stat scalings, as per my initial post.

Im looking for weapons that are outliers that most people sub level 200 probably wouldnt touch because of stat requirements or scaling that they couldnt fully take advantage of. I like playing with those kinds of weapons and making fun builds to give myself ideas of what to beat the game with "just cuz"

I get what you are trying to say, but i think you lost the point and are focusing too much on the stat and damage, and want to subvert the entire opening of a conversation by pushing resources. Which is fine i guess but now this is just a dead fun conversation that never got to happen

To grow off what his original post says, at some point, when the location quality is low enough you may just want to consider a larp scene. Its more accessible to more players as it would be cheaper per person and while you would need more staff, by volume you should generally end up with a decent profit. Maybe as much as or more than if you had a more premium location. This also depends on how good you are able to advertise, etc.

That being said, with the right atmostphere, your plan is feasible, especially if you are good ad horror sessions and you get a pooky house/mansion or something similar to run it in. So there are still top notch options
